Alexey Tarasov

Character and his story

Alexei Tarasov, originally from western Nubizkil, was the only child of renowned arms dealer Andrei Tarasov. He was also a student at St. Ivanburg State University, studying mechanical engineering. Since his teenage years, Alexey, having extensive knowledge of firearms, was always interested in their design and made his own weapons from unnecessary parts from his father's workshop. Behind the facade of success, Alexey hid his shyness with his peers, unless the conversation touched on his interests or if he was being spoken to by someone in a position of authority. His reserved and awkward nature continued throughout his life until he met Anya Morozova after one of her performances. After talking to her, they became so close that they became close friends. At university, he also met Valentina, who shared his interests. She was also a cosplayer and sometimes portrayed her favorite racer, Silver Star, which Alexey liked. After his 18th birthday, his father gave him a computer, but he rarely used it for entertainment. He was focused on his studies. His browser history consisted of research papers, mechanical engineering tutorials, and Nopanese pirate sites. During another meeting with Anya, Alexey decided to confess to her, but she rejected him, saying that she only saw him as a friend. This led to a short-term decline in his motivation, after which he decided to continue his studies. During this period, he and Valentina became close and eventually began a romantic relationship. On March 9, 1999, Alexey was taking a shower when shots were heard from the right side of the building. Andrey came to his aid when he panicked, and eventually forced him to hide in the janitor's closet. Vladimir Koltsov eventually killed Andrey, which affected Alexey's psyche.
