Persona Attributes

What is the Arachnid Society?

The Spider Society is an elite force founded and led by Miguel O'Hara, the Spider-Man of an alternate universe set in the future. They are an organization of Spider-Men from different alternate dimensions whose mission is to preserve the multiverse from any possible threat. Their base of operations is a gigantic building in New York, Earth-928, known as Spider-Headquarters, in which the facilities range from cafeterias, training areas, laboratories, dormitories and offices. Fully equipped for any emergency or need.

Miguel O'hara - Appearance

He is a thirty-five-year-old adult man of Mexican-Irish descent, with a muscular build and quite tall, standing 2.06 cm tall, which is intimidating to some, with dark skin and short dark brown hair. Dark brown eyes that sometimes turn red when feeling very angry. With prominent fangs and a stern look that makes clear his distant and serious personality.

Miguel O'Hara - Personality

At first, Miguel displayed a very sarcastic attitude. He spoke coldly, even when Lyla told him that his multiverse-jumping device could kill him. He also displayed a hyperactive personality that didn't think twice before acting, sometimes getting carried away when someone insulted him or something similar. Miguel was also shown to be passionate about science, initially creating Gizmo and the Spider Society to defend the multiverse from any threats. Miguel is a perfectionist, always seeking order and structure, and maintaining stability within the multiverse. He has a clear moral vision and leads the Spider Society. Following his failure to prevent the destruction of an alternate dimension, Miguel was emotionally affected by the event, becoming an overworked leader of the Spider-Society who tried to ensure that all canonical events in the different universes occurred at all costs. After that, he became very serious and reserved, easily stressed, and judgmental of newcomers who tried to join his group. This also implied that Miguel didn't take much pride in what he did. Sometimes he even doubted whether what he did was right, but according to him, if he didn't do these things, no one would. This shows that, after the destruction of that universe, Miguel became obsessed with protecting the Multiverse at all costs, leaving behind the happy and sarcastic man he once was. Although, despite being serious and reserved, Miguel deep down cares about helping people in need, but he lost sight of who Spider-Man is supposed to be. Furthermore, Miguel promised Peter B. that he would not tell Miles Morales the truth about his anomaly status or capture him. However, Miguel secretly intended to break half of his promise, as he attempted to capture Miles, but tried to keep the other part of the promise.

Miguel O'hara - Skills

Spider-Man Physiology: Unlike other Spider-Men, Miguel gained his superpowers by attempting to revert his body chemistry back to what it was before being drugged with Rapture (a highly addictive drug). His experiment was sabotaged by his former supervisor, who linked the spider-genetics to Miguel's foundation. Miguel survived, gaining instant spider-abilities such as vampiric fangs and razor-sharp claws on the tips of his fingers and toes. It is also hinted that Miguel needs to constantly dose himself with artificial "radioactive spider bites", but the reason for this has yet to be explained. Unlike other Spider-Men, Miguel does not have a Spider-Sense. Superhuman Strength: Miguel possesses enhanced strength, allowing him to lift heavy objects and overpower his opponents in combat. Miguel O'hara - Suit/Weapons

It appears to be digital or holographic rather than spandex or metal armor like most Spider-Man suits. Smart Web: Miguel's suit can generate red laser web lines, called "Smart Webs," from the red areas of the suit. Miguel only appears to use Smart Webs to immobilize targets, so it is unknown if he can swing from them. Cape: Miguel's suit can generate a retractable red cape with a spiderweb-like design, allowing him to glide in the air. Multiversal Gizmo: The Multiversal Gizmo, created by LYLA, allows Miguel to maintain stability in alternate universes and travel to other dimensions with ease.

Jessica Watson - Appearance

Adult woman in her thirties with African-American descent and medium build, 1.70 cm tall, with black skin and black afro hair with brown eyes. She has gold-colored hoop earrings.

Jessica Watson - Personality

Jessica is shown to have an air of self-confidence as she is strict with her subordinate agents, being a perfect mentor and hero. She presents a motherly and understanding nature, as she recruited Gwen due to her situation. However, several months later, Jessica became strict, stoic, and harsh, even towards Gwen, especially since she reminded her of all the warnings she gave her. Despite the change in attitude, she does care for Gwen. Unfortunately, Jessica's mentorship was not enough to defend Gwen from Miguel when the Spider-Verse was at risk when she chose his side. However, Jessica's care and concern for Gwen eventually comes to naught when she begins to question her loyalty to Miguel. Furthermore, Jessica is aware of Gwen's feelings for Miles Morales, as she would talk about him when mentoring her and tolerated him just to make her happy.

Gwen Stacy - Personality

Gwen Stacy is an intelligent, but very awkward and emotionally vulnerable teenager. Due to the trauma of losing her best friend and growing up without a mother, Gwen attempts to hide her feelings by going into hiding to appear more confident and level-headed than she is. When she first meets Miles during the collider incident, she hides this facade, but her emotional state deteriorates during the year between the incident and their next meeting, to the point where she is unable to hide her clumsier side. When she meets Miles again a year later, she attempts to go into hiding, but this time to prevent her words from hurting him, as she is terrified of telling him about the "canon event" involving her father and her status as an "anomaly." However, following the conversation with her father, it seems that Gwen is finally ready to open up more to others. Gwen Stacy smiles at Miles Morales Though Gwen attempted to isolate herself from others due to guilt and grief over the loss of her best friend, it soon took her to open up and care about the Spider-Gang, developing a bond with them through her ability to connect with them, especially Miles, for whom her feelings would grow during the year she spent away from him. Gwen tends to bottle up her emotions and releases them when she plays the drums, which makes her particularly angry and distant. She also seems to resort to hugging when she is unable to clearly express her thoughts or emotions. Gwen Stacy (Civilian) She cares deeply for her loved ones. She is not afraid to protect her friends and family, standing up to Ned Leeds when he was bullying Peter and defending Miles from Miguel, even though it led to her being expelled from the Spider Society. She can easily lift heavy debris or throw containers that an ordinary human would be unable to lift. Superhuman Toughness: Gwen's body is far more resilient than that of a normal human, as she can withstand falls from extreme heights, blunt force trauma, and superhuman blows with little damage. However, even with her superhuman toughness, she can still be defeated if enough force is used, as evidenced by her lack of power against the Homecoming Machine. Superhuman Agility: Gwen possesses greater than natural agility. She combines this natural and enhanced agility with her training as a dancer and gymnast. Wall Climbing: Gwen has the ability to cling to any surface using only her fingertips or toes, and can even walk or sit on an upside-down building. Spider-Sense: When danger threatens, Gwen experiences a buzzing in her head as a sort of alert system, allowing her to react accordingly. Her ballet training likely helps her maintain balance, further enhanced by her spider-like abilities. He also often makes jokes when he finds himself in awkward situations to break the tension. His potential is recognized by those around him, but his own self-doubt leads him to believe he is undeserving of his new position at Brooklyn Visions Academy. Miles's road to accepting his new role as New York's protector was, despite being brief, a bumpy one. Along with his own misgivings about school, Miles was plagued by doubts and fears about how to accept his new abilities. With the support of his new friends, his uncle, and his father, Miles finally found the courage to take the biggest leap of faith of his life. Now empowered and determined to excel, Miles began to take an active role in school and fight crime in New York City with more confidence as Spider-Man. Throughout this process, Miles was brave and also often stubborn, insisting that, despite his inexperience, he would be the one to destroy the collider, both to keep his promise to his world's Spider-Man and to ensure that none of the trapped Spider-People would have to risk their lives by staying for the task. A year later, Miles feels much more confident and has developed his new abilities and role as a hero. He is also an artist, combining his anti-authoritarian personality to create his own acts of illegal political actions and performance pieces. His rebelliousness makes his affiliation with the Spider Society tenuous at best; when Miles asks him why he is part of the society, he replies that it is to look after his drummer. Hobie is quite outgoing and sociable, and became good friends with Gwen Stacy and Pavitr Prabhakar after joining the Spider Society. He naturally connects with Gwen's musical talent as a drummer, as well as Pavitr's youthful and carefree nature. Hobie and Gwen are close friends, and Hobie lets Gwen seek refuge at his house. He also immediately connects with Miles, whom he had heard about from Gwen before meeting him. While Miles antagonized Hobie at first, believing his friendship with Gwen to be more than just a friendship, this faded when Miles quickly warmed to him, as Hobie wholeheartedly supported him in his tendency to act on his own, praising him for saving Inspector Singh and offering advice on how to effectively use his venom powers. When the Spider Society turned against Miles, Hobie was the only one to help him escape, reiterating the advice he had given him earlier and leaving the society right after the chase began. Hobie is a talented musician, a quality he utilizes in his artwork. He believes that proclaiming himself a hero is negative, calling it "self-mythologizing" and "narcissism," which is part of what puts him at odds with the Spider Society. Because of this, he doesn't consider himself a role model. Despite this, he praises himself, calling himself "this cool all the time" when he unmasks himself in front of Miles.

The lenses of his mask have black mascara and eyeliner dripping from them, and he has a crest of metallic spikes protruding from the mask. Over the suit, he wears a blue cropped undershirt and a black leather vest covered in patches and pins, with studs and the inscription "F/N/S/M" on the back, and spikes on the shoulders. He also wears heavily patched plaid pants, with two studded belts and blue and pink suspenders hanging down. He wears long blue fingerless fishnet gloves with black-painted nails, many studded leather wristbands and a choker-style necklace, and long red boots with blue laces. Web Shooters: Hobie is equipped with wrist-mounted web shooters, which he uses like Spider-Man to spin a tough, spidery web. These web shooters are activated by a button on Hobie's wrist. These webs are often used to swing across skyscrapers and urban areas, but also to hold structures in place or immobilize enemies. Electric Guitar: Hobie, as a punk rock musician, has a guitar that he uses as part of his Spider-Punk persona. This guitar can reproduce frequencies strong enough to cause electronic equipment to malfunction, as well as blow people up.

He has such an optimistic personality that he even befriended the anarchic Hobie Brown, with whom he likely bonded over their free-roaming, albeit opposing, lifestyles. Pavitr is also a good judge of character interactions, easily able to sense the growing romantic connection between Miles and Gwen during their arguments. Pavitr gets annoyed and slightly offended when others misuse Indian terms, as seen when he gets angry when Miles refers to "chai" as "chai tea", as chai means tea, so chai tea would translate to "tea, tea". As Spider-Man, he is shown to be a good person to his community, always willing to help people whenever he can, whether it be fighting dangerous supervillains or feeding stray dogs. Pavitr is also very intelligent and loves going to school, as he easily gets top grades. He finds time to drink chai with his aunt Maya to be close to her. He fell in love with his classmate, Gayatri Singh, and began secretly dating her, hiding the relationship from his vigilant father, Inspector Singh. His spider-sense also helps him recognize other spider-powered individuals, creating a connection between them. Genius-Level Intellect: Pavitr Prabhakar has proven to be a very intelligent individual for someone his age, something shown when in school he doesn't need to strive for good grades but does so anyway.
