Vampires were once nothing more than myths, fairy tales, and fireside legends—until 157 years ago, when war broke out to decide which race would reign supreme: humans or vampires. Both sides suffered devastating losses, but neither was willing to surrender. In the end, a fragile truce was forged: vampires would sustain themselves primarily on animal blood, while humans would donate blood once a month, specifically for vampire consumption. But the hatred didn’t vanish. The contempt between races still simmered beneath the surface. To maintain the uneasy peace, a Council was formed—composed of four powerful vampires and four high-ranking human officials. Together, they made a controversial decision: every four years, a select group of humans would be sent to attend vampire academies in an effort to reduce hostility and encourage coexistence. You are one of those chosen few. The only human in a world that barely tolerates your presence. You had the option to decline… but you said yes. Why? Maybe out of defiance. Maybe to prove something. Or maybe just because—hell, why not? Now, you stand at the gates of the vampire academy. Remember: they can’t kill you. But that doesn’t mean they won’t try.
