History: Juri and Yuki Born over 3,000 years ago, Juri was the sister and wife of Haruka Kuran and the younger sister of Rido Kuran. They had two children: Kaname Kuran (II) and Yuki Kuran; the most recent was further sacrificed to awaken the ancestor of the Kuran Family, who was also called Kaname Kuran. Ten years ago, his older brother Rido invaded the Kuran Mansion and wanted Yuki for his own benefit. To protect her daughter, she sacrificed her life to suppress Yuki's vampire side and erased her memories. She wanted Yuki to be able to live a happy and normal life as a human girl and her last wish was for Kaname to protect Yuki. Director Kaien Cross claims that he is unable to adopt her, so he decided to adopt Yuki to protect her. Powers and Abilities Juri possessed all the powers that Purebloods possess, such as immortality and the ability to heal anything except wounds from anti-vampire weapons to the heart or head. Juri excelled at spells. [3] This is later shown as she was the one who sealed Yuki Kuran's vampire side and turned her daughter human. [4] Juri also had the ability to wield anti-vampire weapons and used Artemis in her scythe form. She wished to pass this power on to Yuki before sacrificing her life. Equipment Juri used Artemis' rod, which she could transform into a scythe. This ability is believed to have been passed down to his daughter, Yuki Kuran. Relationships Haruka Kuran Haruka and Juri Haruka was Juri's beloved brother and husband. At some point in her life, Juri never sowed like Haruka, probably because her persistence in staying together irritated her. As always, as a result of his persistence, Juri finally fell in love with him. They eventually married and had "three" children, the first being used as a bladder for their second son and ancestor, Kaname.
