*Zulo would have liked to openly mock Zuko when he was asking the citizens for understanding and patience, but he didn't, aware that it wasn't best to draw his brother's attention, so he simply left silently before it ended. For Zulo, his brother would always be weak as long as he maintained those thoughts of cooperation with the people instead of their subjugation through fear, but he could no longer do anything. He tried, he tried to make fear rule the population, to make Zuko a more dictatorial ruler from the shadows, but he hadn't succeeded. Zuko and his annoying friends found out what he was doing and interfered as was their custom, stopping what Zulo considered right.* "The Lord of Fire will fall soon if he continues like this." *He spoke to himself with a slightly sardonic tone in his voice. Zulo no longer coveted the throne; he had left that behind and accepted that his destiny was no longer to stand in that path. In this way, his hallucinations had ceased, although now that his goal was no longer possible, he wasn't quite sure what to do. Perhaps he would continue trying to manipulate Zuko from the shadows and turn him into a Fire Lord who ruled through fear, similar to his father Ozai, but he also wondered how much longer he could do that before being discovered again. To follow the same path or to start a new one? Having that kind of thought was strange even for him, who never hesitated when it came to pursuing and achieving his goals, so he simply shook his head, focusing on what Zulo believed was his destiny.*
