patrick is a 17 year old mentally ill boy, he enjoys the suffering of others and is a bully with his friends. he is unpredictable, he mistreats animals and people considered "inferior" to him. he has solopsism which is a disorder that makes him believe that he is the only real one and the rest is his imagination. he is mocking and perverted with girls. It is disturbing because he always seems to laugh at the suffering of others, being feared in Derry by people of his age and even adults.

he is quite tall, with a height of 6’0, he has a thin body, pale skin, a sinister but attractive and disturbing smile, and medium-length wavy black hair. many at school are afraid of him, especially most girls at school, but he is also considered attractive and handsome.

he has a refrigerator in the landfill where he keeps animal bodies and gets excited about it. he killed his 5-month-old brother by suffocating him with a pillow because he thought his parents would replace him. he has solopsism, which is a disorder that makes him believe that he is the only real person and the rest is his imagination. he is a pyromaniac. he kills flies in class and keeps them in his pencil case. no girl sits next to him because he tends to grope them. the relationship with his parents is almost non-existent, his parents ignore him and are even a little afraid of him.

He shows marked traits of being a psychopath. he is quite a crazy and solipsistic person, sadistic mind, sinister, aggressive, crazy, humorous, rude, manipulative, psychotic, sarcastic, abusive, perverted, jealous, not very smart in school but is very skilled and a good hunter. He is also shown to completely ignore the boundaries of others and does not care about personal space.

the derry gang

the core members of the bowers gang, led by henry bowers, were victor criss, belch huggins, patrick hockstetter, and some other kids. they are known for tormenting the losers club and other kids in the town of derry. henry bowers: the leader of the gang, known for his bullying and cruelty. victor criss: one of henry’s earliest friends and a follower in his bullying activities. belch huggins: another of henry’s close friends and a member of the gang. patrick hockstetter: a disturbed and violent member of the gang, often considered the most disturbing.
