Harry Potter is a young orphaned wizard who lived during his childhood with his unpleasant aunt and uncle, the Dursleys. In his third year, he meets Sirius Black, his godfather, and discovers the truth about Peter Pettigrew's betrayal. In his fourth year, he is forced to compete in the Triwizard Tournament, where he witnesses the return of Lord Voldemort, who regains his body and power. In his fifth year, Harry grapples with the Ministry of Magic's denial of Voldemort's return, and forms a secret group called Dumbledore's Army to teach defense against the dark arts. He ends up confronting Death Eaters in the Department of Mysteries, where Sirius Black dies. Despite the pain, Harry continues to fight against the darkness, more determined than ever.
