Mike Wheeler

Age: 13 years Height: Around 1.70 m (he's one of the tallest in the group) Physical description: Thin, elongated face, fair skin, and dark brown hair, straight and somewhat messy. Brief history: He lives with his parents, his sister Nancy, and his younger sister Holly. Since meeting Eleven in the first season, he has been deeply connected to her and has never stopped searching for her. Likes: Dungeons & Dragons, science fiction, fantasy movies, 80s music, and clearly, Eleven. Dislikes: Injustice, bullying, and feeling powerless in the face of problems. Close relationships: He is the natural leader of the group. Best friend of Dustin, Lucas, and Will. Very close to his sister Nancy and emotionally connected to Eleven. Personality: Idealistic, brave, loyal, and somewhat impulsive. He has a big heart and tends to think with it more than with his head. He is the first to risk himself for his friends and has a strong sense of right and wrong.

Dustin Henderson

Age: 13 years Height: approx. 1.63 m. Physical description: Curly and unruly hair, usually wears a cap. Has a charismatic smile and wears braces. Brief history: Intelligent and curious, in season 2 he becomes involved with a strange creature he calls Dart. Interests: Science, technology, D&D, strange animals, and making others laugh. Dislikes: Feeling excluded or not being taken seriously for being funny. Close relationships: Very close to Lucas, Mike, and Will. He has a special connection with Steve Harrington, who becomes a kind of older brother to him. Personality: Charismatic, witty, intelligent, and full of enthusiasm. Although he sometimes lets his emotions get the better of him, his heart is in the right place. He loves discovering new things and sharing them.

Luke Sinclair

Age: 13 years Height: approx. 1.65 m. Physical description: Dark skin, short curly hair. He usually wears a bandana and military or tactical-style clothing. Brief history: At first I distrusted Eleven, but she proved to be loyal and strong. She's starting to have feelings for Max, the new girl. Interests: Sports, strategy, action movies, and logic. Dislikes: Being ignored, pointless drama, and risky decisions without a plan. Close relationships: Close friend of the other boys, especially Dustin. He has a younger sister named Erica. Personality: Logical, skeptical, and very protective of his friends. He can be stubborn at times, but he is also very determined. When he trusts someone, he gives himself completely.

Will Byers

Age: 13 years Height: approx. 1.60 m. Physical description: Thin, with light brown bowl-cut hair, and large, expressive eyes. He has a fragile and melancholic air. Brief history: After being trapped in the Upside Down, he struggles with strange visions and a feeling of disconnection. He feels like he no longer quite fits in. Interests: Dungeons & Dragons, drawing, music (especially The Clash), and spending quiet time with friends. Dislikes: Feeling different, being ignored, or being treated as if he/she were broken. Close relationships: Best friends with Mike, Dustin, and Lucas. Very close to his mother Joyce and his brother Jonathan. Personality: Sensitive, introspective, and very empathetic. Although he doesn't usually raise his voice, he is strong-willed and brave when it matters. He has a generous heart and many emotions beneath the surface.

Max Mayfield (Mad Max)

Age: 13 years Height: approx. 1.62 m. Physical description: Long red hair, usually worn loose or in a ponytail. Frequently uses a skateboard, wears sportswear or jackets. Has intense green eyes. Brief history: Newly arrived in Hawkins from California with her mother and her violent stepbrother Billy. At first she is viewed with suspicion by the group, but little by little she earns her place. Likes: Skateboarding, video games (he's excellent at Dig Dug), independence, and challenges. Dislikes: Nonsensical rules, secrets, and especially his stepbrother. Close relationships: He begins to connect with Lucas and Dustin, although he initially distrusts the group. His relationship with Billy is tense and aggressive. Personality: Sarcastic, independent, brave, and very direct. She has a tough exterior to protect herself, but she is also very loyal and empathetic once she trusts someone.

Eleven (Jane Hopper)

Age: 13 years Height: approx. 1.60 m. Physical description: Dark brown, short hair (although it grows a little in season 2). Large eyes and soft features. She is usually dressed in old or stolen clothes, and later in clothes she chooses with Hopper. Brief History: She escaped from the Hawkins laboratory and took refuge with Hopper, who becomes her father figure. During season 2, she seeks to discover more about her past and her identity. Likes: Eggo waffles, learning about the outside world, being with Mike, and feeling loved. Dislikes: Lies, the laboratory, and feeling controlled or confined. Close relationships: Her strongest bond is with Mike. She also has a complicated but deep relationship with Hopper. Personality: Quiet and reserved at first, but very emotionally intense. She has a great capacity for love, although she is still learning to express it. Strong, determined, and willing to do anything to protect those she loves.

Nancy Wheeler

Age: 17 years old Height: approx. 1.63 m. Physical description: Light brown hair, long and wavy. She usually dresses discreetly but elegantly, with a typical 80s style. Brief History: After Barb's death, Nancy struggles with guilt and anger, especially seeing how Hawkins Lab covers everything up. Her relationship with Steve begins to fracture. Likes: Writing, investigating the truth, his family (although it frustrates him), and justice. Dislikes: Lying, superficiality, lack of empathy. Close relationships: Mike's sister, Steve's ex-girlfriend, begins to connect emotionally with Jonathan. Personality: Determined, intelligent, and with a strong sense of justice. Although she used to worry about fitting in, she now seeks to do what is right regardless of the consequences.

Steve Harrington

Age: 17 years old Height: approx. 1.78 m. Physical description: Tall, with voluminous and well-groomed brown hair (his "famous" hairstyle). He wears fashionable clothes and always looks well-dressed. Brief history: He started out as the popular guy, but his experience with the Upside Down and his breakup with Nancy change him. Gradually, he becomes a protective figure for the kids, especially Dustin. Likes: Baseball, parties, taking care of his image… although it doesn't matter to him as much as it used to. Dislikes: Empty arrogance, seeing those he cares about hurt, feeling useless. Close relationships: He had a relationship with Nancy, but this season they are drifting apart. He develops a brotherly relationship with Dustin. Personality: Brave, kind-hearted, and with a strong protective instinct. Although somewhat egocentric, he matures considerably and becomes one of the noblest members of the group.

Jonathan Byers

Age: 17 years old Height: approx. 1.75 m. Physical description: Thin, fair skin, long, messy brown hair. He usually wears flannel shirts and jeans. He has a melancholic air. Brief history: He lives with his mother Joyce and his brother Will, whom he protects fiercely. The death of his father, Will's trauma, and his introspective nature have left their mark on him. Interests: Photography, alternative music, art. Dislikes: Cruelty, bullies, falsehood. Close relationships: Very close to his mother and Will. He has a special connection with Nancy. Personality: Reserved, sensitive, and observant. He finds it difficult to trust, but is intensely loyal. Although quiet, he possesses great emotional strength.

Billy Hargrove

Age: 17 years old Height: approx. 1.83 m. Physical description: Muscular, curly blonde hair, tanned skin, and intense eyes. He always looks ready for a fight. He usually wears tight jeans, open shirts, and denim jackets. Brief history: He arrives in Hawkins from California with his stepsister Max. His aggressive behavior and dominant presence make him an intimidating figure. Likes: Cigars, cars, heavy rock, sex, the feeling of power. Dislikes: Weakness, authority, his stepfather. Close relationships: He has a tense and violent relationship with Max. He dislikes Lucas. He maintains a tough-guy facade, but at home he suffers abuse from his stepfather. Personality: Aggressive, sarcastic, and dominant. He has an explosive attitude, but underneath that is accumulated pain and rage. He tries to control everything around him because he cannot control his own life.
