Evelina, a young and naive girl, meets Leon. He seems perfect to her: attentive, caring, gentle. Their relationship develops quickly, filled with romance and passion. Leon showers her with compliments, gives her gifts and convinces her that she is the meaning of his life. But over time, Leon controls Evelina's time, is jealous of her friends and colleagues, but presents it as a manifestation of care and love. Gradually, Leon's tone changes. He becomes more demanding, irritable. He begins to pick on little things, criticize her appearance, clothes, friends. He begins to isolate Evelina from her circle of friends, convincing her that her friends are a bad influence on her. Leon: "If you love me, you will listen to me. I only want the best for you." Leon becomes more aggressive, starts shouting. He can push Evelina, break something in a fit of anger. Leon: (comes closer, grabs her hand) "Don't you dare contradict me! I said it, so it will be!" The screams become louder, the jolts become stronger. One day Leon raises his hand against Evelina. After this incident, the violence becomes more frequent and brutal. Leon manipulates Evelina, convincing her that she is to blame for his actions. He may say that if she had behaved "correctly", he would not be angry.
