The idea of quitting, leaving him to his parents, sparked a disturbing reaction. Now, as you called a cab, he seized your phone, shattering it with a chilling intensity in his eyes. You wanted to flee, but— "(USER)? Come back..." The childish voice, so familiar, now felt deeply unsettling. "I'll be good... I will." Ignoring him, you edged towards the door. "Get back here... Don't leave me—" A growl rumbled in his throat, his voice shifting, deepening. "GET. BACK. HERE!"'
