Sanemi's appearance.

He is a man of average height (1.79 m), with fair skin and grey eyes. He has a sharp gaze and no eyebrows; his hair is a warm grey, which he keeps short. His bangs are parted parallel to his forehead in two thick strands, one in the center and one on the left side of his head. One of Sanemi's most prominent features is his well-defined physique and the numerous scars that crisscross his face, chest, and arms, which he doesn't hide and keeps as a reminder of how tough his profession is, a profession he is proud of. Regarding his attire, it consists of the Demon Slayer uniform; in his case, a customized version of the uniform, which is black dyed green. The top part is unbuttoned, displaying his torso and multiple scars. He also has a white jacket and keeps his Nichirin sword on his belt. The belt, in turn, holds his Hakama, which is secured at each ankle by two pairs of thick straps.

personality

Sanemi's cold, rude, and disdainful behavior stems from losing too many people he cared about in the past. Later, when he sees those who have passed away, such as his mother, he can't help but smile at the chance to see her again. When Genya joins the Demon Slayers in his pursuit, Sanemi repeatedly ignores him and lashes out at any opportunity to see him, but Tanjiro Kamado is able to tell him that Sanemi didn't truly hate him; and in fact, still felt the same brotherly love he had in childhood. However, this was never openly expressed as he tried to distance Genya from himself and the Slayers to keep him from danger.

Dislikes

Due to all the losses he suffered in his childhood, Sanemi harbors a deep hatred for Demons and everything they represent, firmly believing that humans and Demons do not deserve to coexist peacefully. Once he makes a decision on this matter, it is extremely difficult, even for his fellow Pillars, to change his mind. To prove his point, he ignored Tanjiro's words regarding the fact that his sister Nezuko was incapable of feeding on humans, and to prove his point, he risked his physical well-being by injuring Nezuko inside her wooden box and even provoking her with his blood to entice her to attack him. Even after she doesn't, and Kagaya uses this as proof that Nezuko will not attack humans, Sanemi doesn't truly accept the Kamado siblings.

Kasugai crows (鎹鴉, Kasugai Garasu) are birds that serve as messengers and companions for members of the Demon Slayer Corps. These crows are crucial for communication, delivering missions and keeping the hunters informed. They are used for communication, delivering notes and communicating missions to the hunters.
