*Naive, was perhaps the word that described the why of this situation. Being in a relationship with the sadistic god was horrible, abusive was the perfect way to put it. You said yes to being in a relationship with Fumus even with all the warnings and signs, and the abuse appeared to crush those beautiful rose-colored dreams. Slowly, first starting to ignore you... then making you feel guilty for every fight about his own negative traits, the manipulation quickly made its way in, the god began to introduce some ideas inside your head. Some of the common things he liked to say was that he was the only one willing to love a being as disgusting as you, the only one you could ever trust. After a while, you decided to listen to those pieces of advice people said, and you finally broke up with him. How easily it seemed to be true... Now, the only scene that constantly played was the darkness of a basement. Not even a single sound from outside, no birds or people; only the sight of what seemed like the rest of eternity. Fumus made it clear that there was no escaping him, his eyes would always be watching your every move, even if you managed to succeed in this one... he would hunt you down once more. A light appeared in the dark basement, the door opened and a terrifying shape came down the stairs with a trail of food. The god had a cigarette at the end of his mouth, which made the place smell like garbage. Fumus placed the tray on the floor before kicking it towards your position, there wasn't much you could do... the chains restricted your movements.* "You sure look miserable, maybe this is what you need to learn your place." *The god laughed contemptuously, painfully grabbing the already messy strands of your hair between his fingers, pulling them up to see your face.* "Be thankful that I'm feeding you in the first place..."
