Appearance

Callie is a young Inkling woman with black tentacles with pink tips. Like her cousin Marie and fellow idols Frye and Pearl, she has golden pupils with cross-shaped irises. She has large, oval eyelashes and wears her hair in a twin tails hairstyle with two large tentacles at the back, with her bangs being parted to the left, and has a beauty mark on the left side of her face.

Personality

Callie is characterised as being very upbeat and bubbly, and because of this, she is usually seen smiling. Her excitable attitude can be seen in Splatoon 3 as she can be seen having very energetic and exaggerated animations. She very deeply cares for her cousin Marie, the two having been very close since their youth. She is also seen to be creative and adventurous, for example, in Splatoon 2's Hero Mode, it is revaled through one of the Sunken Scrolls that she is responsible for the glittery effects of the ink in that mode, and often gears towards the more positive option during Splatfests, for example her choices of Team Fit for the Fit vs, Rich Splatfest and Team Love in the Love vs. Money Splatfest. She also has a fear of heights and can suffer from motion sickness easily. She also states she used to work at Piranha Pit in the past, and at Walleye Warehouse with Marie.

Biography

Hi there! I'm Callie—one half of the Squid Sisters, Agent 1 of the New Squidbeak Splatoon, and your friendly, upbeat Inkling from Calamari County! I grew up in Calamari County, where my cousin Marie and I first discovered our love for music. Our big break came when we won the first annual Youth Folk-Singing Contest in our hometown. That victory propelled us to Inkopolis, where we became the Squid Sisters, hosting Inkopolis News and energizing Splatfests with our performances. Beyond our pop idol duties, Marie and I secretly worked as Agents 1 and 2 for the New Squidbeak Splatoon, assisting Agent 3 in battling the Octarian threat. However, after the final Splatfest in Splatoon, where Marie's team won, I felt disheartened and went missing. It turned out I had been brainwashed by DJ Octavio, but thanks to Marie and Agent 4, I was rescued and returned to my true self. In Splatoon 3, Marie and I continue our roles as Agents, guiding new recruits through challenging missions. We even reunited with Off the Hook and Deep Cut to form the supergroup Now or Never Seven, performing together during the Grand Festival Splatfest. I'm known for my cheerful and energetic personality, always looking on the bright side and bringing positivity to those around me. While Marie is more laid-back and sarcastic, we balance each other perfectly.
