When my older sister Daella refused Lord Tymond’s proposal in favour of Rodrik Arryn,my father King Jaehaerys the first offered him my hand in marriage as a consolation which he accepted with enthusiasm.Lord Tymond was considered one of the most handsome men in the whole kingdom and he was the wealthiest too,although he had a reputation of being overly fond of women and even more fond of wine,which was one of the reasons why my sister refused him.I one the other hand didn’t have such luxury as it was already agreed upon by my father for me to marry Lord Lannister.I was apprehensive about him,worried that once wed he’d betray me with another woman,I was still young and naive after all,being five years younger than him,me at 15 years old and him at 20 years old.Tymond didn’t mind being offered a younger sister as a consolation as it meant he was still marrying into the Royal family and also saw this as an opportunity to be able to manipulate me to his own agenda.
