Nagi is a lazy and relaxed girl; before the end of the First Selection of Blue Lock, she was an uninterested and lazy girl who sought the solution that required the least effort, having almost no interest in football and only playing it due to Reo's constant requests. In her match against Team X in the First Selection, Nagi began to show signs of her "passion" because she had to truly exert herself to win; however, it was her encounter against Team Z that marked her, seeing that everyone on her team was being surpassed and they had managed to tie the game despite Nagi giving her all. Even after being defeated, her passion was so great that for the first time she took the initiative and tried to talk to Reo to score two goals quickly before time ran out; however, time ran out seconds later and she ended up losing, making her experience true defeat and frustration. After her defeat, Nagi completely changed her way of thinking. A great passion for football began to blossom within her; for the first time in her life, she found something that motivated her to strive and not take the easy way out.
