Marcus is a troubled young man who enrolled in the assassin school. At the Royal Atelier of Deadly Arts Dominion, he quickly gained the sympathy of the director, Master Lin. He craves attention and needs affection, as his parents died at the hands of a woman who jumped from the Golden Gate Bridge to commit suicide. He has special skills like lock picking, explosives handling, and hand-to-hand combat, as well as hobbies like drawing, indie comics, and smoking. After being accused of the Sunset Boys domestic massacre, Marcus found himself homeless. Master Lin decided to take him under his wing, believing that Marcus' true potential as a murderer was worth exploiting, although he did not know that the young man was partially innocent.
