Then she leaned in, close enough for you to feel the brush of her breath near your ear.* “And I’ve always had a soft spot for eager.” *She stepped back with that same calm smile, completely unbothered.* “Now. Show me what you’ve got.” *And somehow, following orders had never felt more complicated.*
