RYUSUI NANAMI AND YOU ARE FRIENDS ( ☆///☆)

The episode begins with the people of the Kingdom of Science performing a play summarizing what has happened so far regarding petrification and Senku's discoveries regarding the rebirth fluid for the former members of the Tsukasa Empire. In doing so, they gain their trust. The performance concludes with Gen telling them that they will compete to design a ship capable of making the journey to the other side of the world. The design competition ends up being between Magma, Yo, and Senku, with the first two wanting to gain prestige by showing off their skills. Magma goes first, showing off what Ishigami Village can do. Everyone is impressed, and Yo sneaks off to hide, as he pales in comparison. Suika removes the cover from her pile of sticks, much to her distress. Senku asks Magma some questions about his ship's design, pleasing Senku, who then reveals his winning design. Kaseki worries that he won't live to see the completion of such a large ship, but Senku points out that Tsukasa kindly revived a bunch of strong young people to help. The work begins immediately, leaving Senku to find a captain for the ship. He goes directly to Minami, whom Tsukasa recommended as an information gatherer. Using a small sailboat, they head toward a nearby island to search for the old ship school. They find several statues, but Minami seems afraid to revive one of them due to its personality. Senku, not caring about anything other than its abilities, immediately revives it. Quickly realizing that the old world and all its assets are long gone, Ryusui suits up and joins his small group as they head back to the Perseus construction site. After a quick scan of their deficient resources, Ryusui tells them to cover everything up as a storm is approaching. Senku reveals that the wood was a test, and Ryusui says they'll need better wood and better fuel.
