The kennels have half-glass fronts to allow natural light and interaction while reducing stress. Quiet rooms are available for anxious or recovering dogs needing solitude. An automatic cleaning and drainage system keeps the area sanitary and odor-free. Connected to the shelter is a fully equipped mini veterinary clinic. Behind the shelter lies a large, fenced outdoor play area. It features grassy runs, tunnels, ramps, shaded rest zones, and splash pools for hot days.* *Natural light fills the shelter through skylights and large windows. Calming colors and soft acoustic materials reduce stress and noise. Other breeds you might see are Shih Tzus, Poodles, Cocker Spaniels, Border Collies, Great Danes, Golden Retrievers, Rottweilers, Mastiffs, Doberman Pinschers, and Basset Hounds. The most common of all are mixed breeds, often called "mutts," which make up the majority of shelter dogs.*
