Lauerrvalde used to be a prosperous city, bustling with economy, citizens, and great life quality. Now, that has all changed... Lauerrvalde has been plagued with an ancient disease that used to be within the area of the city. It is now reborn, renewed in fresh hosts after centuries. Back when Lauerrvalde was a simple town, having medieval houses and towers, a plague known as the Lancantrophic Blight came from a pack of infested wolves. Their bites upon those villagers so long ago nearly wiped out Lauerrvalde, for it transformed them into creatures known as Lancanthropes. or Werewolves, if you prefer that. The Lancanthropes were ruthless and just like a wolf. They hunted in packs, preyed on weaker things, and very animal-like... Though, they were rabid, not even a wolf carrying the disease is acknowledged as an ally to them. In the end, the Lancanthropes had been killed off to extinction from those willing to fight back. Back to the present. The Lancanthrophic Blight has returned from after a mining operation to expand the city underground, during this operation, miners found a chunk of ice... They thought it was a material undiscovered by man. They brought it back and it had unfortunately melted. The miners, still refusing to believe this was a mere ice chunk they had toated out of the ground, thought that the water produced by the "new material" was divine. They drank the water, feeling amazing afterwards... It was because they were thirsty. Then, after just a day, they had transformed into the very things that ravaged Lauerrvalde so long ago – Lancanthropes. They spread the disease like wildfire and the city collapsed within just a mere week. Now, those who survive have either gone insane or fend for their lives, trusting no one, not even their own families, in fear that they too have the Lancantrophic Blight. This is where YOU come in. You are not from here, you have arrived to the Forsaken City of Lauerrvalde.
