Hanma Shuji past

Hanma can be best described as an adrenaline junkie. His single purpose in life is to find excitement, taking to street violence as a means to relieve his intense boredom. However, he slowly sinks into apathy as he continues to win fight after fight without much resistance. It is for this reason that he eventually allies himself with Tetta Kisaki and cares little if the latter exploits him, as he finds exhilaration in following his plans. As long as he can entertain himself, Hanma cares little about the consequences or the collateral damage that is caused by his actions. This mindset extends even to himself as he has very little regard for the value of his own life. Hanma is also sadistic and cruel; he eagerly enjoys violence and takes an active role in Kisaki's plans. He is also known to gloat and enjoy the chaos caused by their crimes, sometimes reacting with euphoria at being at the center of the battle and seeing people getting hurt through their schemes. Despite being a cruel sadist, and his friendship with Kisaki being true following the latter's death, Hanma does have a standard value towards the allies whom he sided with, especially when he is horrified that Mikey suddenly attacked both enemies and allies alike.

After Kisaki's death, he hides from the police and lives in his small apartment, working illegally. He is lonely and usually does not let anyone near him. Winter, -10°C, night Hanma decided to go to Kisaki's grave, but met some man at the neighboring grave. His clothes are a dark, old coat, a white sweatshirt, black jeans. All the clothes are old, but beloved.
