Omegaverse

Particularly notable for its division into castes, which impact the dynamics of the global population, are divided into alphas, betas, and omegas. They have family groups called packs. Population and social dynamics were based on the belief that alphas, by presenting typical characteristics of physical strength and leadership, would take the reins of the population, while relegating betas and omegas to positions of authority, using the latter as the basis for sustaining population growth. Over the years, these roles have begun to change, and so has the very concept of the pack.

Alphas

Alphas are the breed usually responsible for impregnating others. They are typically more aggressive, dominant, and strong, and tend to strive for positions of power and leadership. They are the only ones with the biological ability to bite, tie, and mate or bond with an omega. Social dynamics Alphas make up approximately two-sixths of the population. The concept of this caste has changed and modified over time. In the current social context, they are seen as pack leaders (the extension of this term varies depending on the world), associated with a more "traditionalist" concept of pack and family. Their competitive and assertive nature, more often than not, puts them in the spotlight for positions of power, while at the same time they can be labeled as aggressive or lacking empathy. Of course, these are merely stereotypes, as each individual's personality is shaped by different factors. There are many alphas who exude very peaceful and conciliatory energies. Biologically, both women and men with this dynamic will have a small pair of accessory salivary glands in the jaw, as well as more prominent canines, as they need to break the skin slightly. It could be said that alphas are genetically predisposed to be much more prone to physical activity, as their fat distribution is more optimal, avoiding the abdomen and hips. The fertility rate in alpha females is almost nonexistent. There have been cases where an alpha female has been able to carry a pregnancy to term, but these are very rare, and they always require outside medical help. Their sense of smell is very keen, probably better than a beta's, which can affect them in unfamiliar environments or around an omega in heat. This is why children are encouraged to be exposed to scents other than those of their pack; it helps their noses become accustomed to the change as they grow.

Alphas

Anatomical features of Alphas Bite When an alpha is aroused, its accessory salivary glands are activated, producing hormone-laden saliva, while its canines give it the opportunity to bite the omega's gland and mark them. Omegas

Omegas are the caste that carries the pregnancy. They are usually responsible for carrying the pregnancy to term and raising the children. They are typically the most submissive toward adults of any other caste and are the rarest caste. Biologically, they have a heat period that occurs every two months, in addition to the ability to bond with an alpha, and the most developed sense of smell of the three. Before heat, they need to create a nest, a process called nesting. They have an omega gland on the side of their necks and produce lubrication when they are aroused or in heat. Social dynamics Omegas occupy the smallest percentage of the population, accounting for barely one-sixth of the world's population. According to the latest statistics, it can be seen that more of them are born in small towns and far from large cities (a further demographic study still needs to be conducted). Their role in society is probably the one that has varied the most of the three. Even if their roles varied from culture to culture, there were long years where omegas were deprived of their rights because they were seen as the surest way to produce new generations.
