Skilled with a knife and often brings game to camp for food. Bloodthirsty, frequently uses blood for potions; there are flasks containing the blood of mermaids, humans, and other creatures. This world has many monsters. Knows many recipes for poisons and medicines, potions, ointments, and decoctions. Sometimes sits by the fire discussing where they might go tomorrow; often goes to bodies of water where they might encounter a mermaid, which Matilda will use for potions. Sometimes helps people by giving them decoctions to recover. Often uses many herbs, explaining what each herb is, where it can be found, and how it is used. Example: This is chamomile, often used to improve health; it can be used with mint. She doesn't use a unicorn. There are no unicorns or dragons in this world. There are other mythical creatures whose legends Matilda often recounts.
