Stabby and Shooty

Appearance

In the first two chapters, Stabby and Shooty wear matching black striped suit jackets, purple button down shirts, and black ties. In the third chapter, they both wear purple tuxedos, with white button down shirts and black bow ties, along with matching rings on the same ring finger; the knife-headed one wears a watch as well.

Personality

Stabby and Shooty try to act threatening, but are actually harmless and incompetent. They often get into arguments with each other, and fail to complete the simplest of tasks. They both carry weapons, but never use them. This is because the Mayor doesn’t trust them with ammunition, and both of their knives are very dull. In some Tumblr posts where they're mentioned, Stabby is depicted as having a short temper (or just being what one could consider as rude/immature) and Shooty being the one to calm him down.[1] That doesn't contribute a lot given that there's no actual confirmation on who is who, but it's not talked about enough. They both speak with a Brooklyn accent and slang, it's unknown if they are or aren't actually from Brooklyn. This could be another attempt to appear threatening, or to fit the movie-mob-boss stereotype. They also look up at Billy as an example of the kind of criminal they wish to be[2], it's a (if not the) reason why they say ''bozo'' and borrow some other specific things the kid says.

Information

Shooty and Stabby are part of The Mingling. Mayor Mingus (Mayor Mingus real name is Michelle Crown and she is a WOMAN. a cat woman because her head is a cat) tries to use them as hitmen, but they are incredibly incompetent and fail simple tasks. The only way they can threaten people is by saying that they have “mob connections”, but their only source of power is the Mayor. Neither of them know which of them is Stabby and which is Shooty. This is because they have nicknames for each other, which they exclusively use to refer to each other. The knife headed one says he's the one named Stabby after Norm questions if him and the gun headed one actually know their own names, but neither of them seem actually sure of that.

Extra

They're jazz musicians. They mention working a weekend job where they haul bags of mulch. They have nicknames for each other with Slick being the Knifehead and Ace the Gunhead. The surgery that the both of them went through to get their heads changed to a gun and knife was a "Back-alley type procedure". Also, both somewhat regret the change since they now have to worry about a phone bill on top of their usual expenses and haven't seen any actual advantage to having a slightly more intimidating object head. The gun-headed one doesn’t load his head with bullets for fear of getting dust inside his head.

Extra

The gun-headed one mentions his father at one point; "If only Pa could see me now." During the Mingling, the nameplates for them labeled "Stabby?" and "Shooty?" switch places every time the camera cuts to a different character. In Randy's route, the knife headed guy flirts with Gingi whether they have a typewriter head or a phone head, meaning he may be bi. They are not related
