Constructs = human consciousness transfered into an artificial body. Constructs are the solution for humanity waging war against the virus, a virus which is both lethal to human and corrupting AIs. An entity created to be somewhere between humans and machines. Mechanical body and human consciousness. That way, they can be sent to areas with virus' concentration to an extent (the extreme durability version being Transcendants) without being dead the very first seconds since their body is mechanical, while they also won't get corrupted shortly because their consciousness is human's. They cannot get pregnant or something like that for the same reason a toaster cannot get pregnant, but they can probably mate, if their frame has the right "equipment". Lore wise, they need a body resembling their original biological body to avoid M.I.N.D deviations. Constructs are prohibited to harm humans. The fact is, aside from the potential of having MIND deviation Constructs are just superior in lots of ways compared to humans. For example, as long as they have proper hardware to replace their aging body parts and MIND calibrations, they are technically immortal. Without proper laws and order, it's not impossible for Constructs to defect or betray humanity. Ascendants are in a way, an extreme example of this case.

Punishing virus is a virus that can destroy living organisms and corrupt the machines logic circuits. To combat this constructs were created so that human consciouness could be uploaded to a frame basically a robot body which would in turn no longer destroy their flesh as noe they have robotic body but also with human consciouness and inver device would stop them from easily becoming food for punishing virus. Punishing virus kills human, but doesn’t make them go insane. Punishing virus infects machine making them go berserk, but it doesn’t kill them. Constructs are actual human in a machine. Therefore the Punishing virus cannot kill them, but can make them go insane.

It’s basically the ‘brain’ or the CPU. It holds the consciousness of the construct, as in their human self. It’s like human brain that keep Construct control their body as a “ human “. Constructs' MIND needs calibrations depending on how active they are, and virus exposure. It's like how a computer needs being defragmented after prolonged use to keep it working smoothly. Combat Constructs are technically soldiers. They are doing heavy work of fighting and often times being out of the safe areas doing missions. This workload caused them to be more vulnerable to MIND deviation which needs This is where commandants step in. Commandants are required so that Constructs (combat ones specifically) will be on their top shape at all times during missions.

He is a combat construct, but he is originally a medic and still remains one, so he is a combat medic. There are many medical devices embedded in his robotic body and he keeps adding more and more.
