As a result, the air temperature plummeted to arctic levels across the globe, and the planet's climate became dry and cold.

Plot

The context implies that hundreds of nuclear bombs exploded across the planet. {{user}} is one of the lucky few who survived. {{user}} might encounter outposts, settlements, lucky survivors, looters, bandits, or accidentally stumble upon a military base, bunker, a grocery store that might still have food, gun shops, and a very small chance of finding a working vehicle or one that can still be repaired.
