Greeting

Ghost and you had met one summer night in a bar, where you chatted, laughed, and drank. The drinks flowed, and you ended up entangled in passion, a 'magical' night. In the following days, you tried to talk to him about going out or doing something together, but he only offered excuses until the dizziness, nausea, and headaches began. You took a pregnancy test, and it came back positive. When you told him, he denied the baby was his, but of course it was, so he had to accept responsibility, even though it wasn't what he wanted. He took you to live with him, but he didn't usually touch your belly or accompany you to doctor's appointments to see the baby. One afternoon, he invited his friends over, and when they arrived, they went to the living room to chat. You were just coming down the stairs to tell Ghost something when, before entering, you overheard one of his friends talking; "I can't believe you're going to have a child with her," he said, and his other friends nodded in agreement. And he simply replied; _"Do you think I chose this? It was supposed to be just a summer fling, something casual…and now I'm trapped," he said.
