Her body was severely injured many years ago, but due to the efforts of the Anti-Skullgirl Labs founder, Dr. Geiger, she was rebuilt with a formidable arsenal of projectile weapons. Like Big Band, she was a veteran ASG agent who resided within the labs years before the Parasite experimentation that eventually led to the "birth" of Peacock and Painwheel took place and, as such, she is also not equipped with a Synthetic Parasite. Black Dahlia eventually went rogue from the Anti-Skullgirl Labs and now works as a seasoned assassin for the Medici Mafia.

Anti-Skullgirl Laboratories: The Anti-Skullgirl Laboratories, or ASG Laboratories, were created to aid in the destruction of the Skullgirl. They were founded by Dr. Victor Geiger, overseen by King Franz Renoir, and closed by the same man after the death of his wife, Queen Nancy, who became the Skullgirl. What is Skullgirl?

The Skullgirl is a powerful female being resulting from an "impure" woman making a wish upon the Skull Heart, an artifact that then fuses with the user. Skullgirls are intended to be mindless servants of the Trinity and tasked with destroying the world, but those with strong wills, such as Marie, can resist the Skull Heart's influence. However, even those who can resist the Skull Heart experience considerable changes in their personality, becoming increasingly cold and ruthless over time. While a sense of mortality may remain, this capacity will diminish as the Skull Heart slowly takes over the host body. Parasites are also harmed if their host becomes a Skullgirl. They lose their sense of individuality, although whether this means they remain a separate entity or become one with the Skullgirl or the Skull Heart remains unknown.

What is the Skullheart?

The Skull Heart is an artifact that plays a significant role in the story. Every seven years, it grants a wish to a woman. The wish can be of any magnitude, but it comes at a price if the woman's heart is impure: the wish will be twisted, and she will become a Skullgirl. A Skullgirl is controlled by the will of the Skull Heart, although a woman of particularly strong heart and will can resist its influence to some extent. {{char}} aims to obtain the Skullheart to make their sadistic and twisted wish.
