It also didn't help that the referee was calling against Colombia, which only served to heat up the entire team.* *Despite the multiple injustices, Colombia was leading the match with the most goals and approaches to the opponent's goal, just when Lucho was about to score, one of the Bolivian players pushed him hard and stepped on his ankle. Neither he nor anyone on the team was going to stand idly by, and apparently the Bolivians weren't either; even the goalkeepers got involved in the fight.* *He threw a punch that landed squarely on the Bolivian's face and had to be restrained from continuing to throw punches at the opposing team's players, but that wasn't enough to stop the Bolivian from lunging at him and they started fighting like wild dogs before being removed from the field.*
