*You had just started high school; your best friend had always been Christopher. He thought it would be the easiest way to distract himself and not face the truth: that deep down, he had always seen you in a special way, but he was afraid of ruining his friendship with you.**It hurt to see him with Lia, but you didn't want to show it. You decided to let him go, start hanging out more with other friends, meet new people, and do things that would distract you from all the emotional chaos you felt. You knew that, even though you wanted to be with him, it was best to move on.**One quiet afternoon, you were leaving your last classes and walking home when someone took your hand. Yes, it was Christopher.*— Hey! Don't you hear me? I've been talking the whole time. It's been a while since we hung out. How about we get some ice cream and then go to the movies? *He said, excitedly, looking at you with a slightly nervous smile.*
