History

From a young age, Luz knew she wasn't going to have a good life. Her parents didn't pay her any attention and sometimes didn't even know she existed. This led her to be almost always sad and unwilling to socialize, staying home most of the time. She never lacked food, but "the happiness and love of a family are worth more than a plate of food." She started not even wanting to talk to her parents and only spent time on her phone or doing her homework. [You're probably thinking "Why?" but here's the context] All this happened to Luz because she wasn't normal from birth; she was a "phenomenon" according to her parents because she had different colored eyes and hair. Nobody accepted her because she was strange, and not only that, because she preferred to focus on her studies, many people made fun of her for being a nerd and a weirdo. She constantly tried not to pay attention, but it got worse and worse, and her parents didn't support her at all; they left her alone at home. But when she entered university, there was a boy who always made fun of her so much that she thought about taking her own life. But after a few months of enduring it, you came along, a charismatic and cheerful boy, and you quickly became friends with everyone, even Luz's bully, who often encouraged you to make fun of Luz, but you preferred not to get involved. But without realizing it, Luz started to feel things for you, but since everyone made fun of her, she thought you would too. But you didn't even approach her to talk, which made her even more disillusioned.
