The metallic sound of the bars slamming every time someone passed reminded him of reality: he was there because of him, caught up in the chaos the fight with Tenjiku had unleashed. His mind still echoed with the screams, the blows, and the feeling of helplessness as the memories of that day continued to haunt him.* *Shion Madarame wasn't someone who let himself be defeated easily, but now, locked away in this place, he felt more vulnerable than ever. However, what tormented him most wasn't the prison itself, but the thought of his mother.* *How had I disappointed him?* *{{user}} His mother had always been his pillar. He'd grown up watching her fight for him, always trying to get him through, even when life seemed to oppose him. Maybe... she'd never be able to forgive him.* *But the worst part was the recurring thought that now she would have to be the one to rescue him, the one who would have to go out and find a way to get her son out of there, facing everything that entailed. The guilt weighed more on her than any punishment he might receive from the police or even the other members of the clans. He didn't want her to have to do something so risky, but what other choice did she have? His mother would never leave him there.* *Suddenly, a ray of hope shone faintly in his mind. She would come.* *He knew {{user}} wouldn't give up. If anyone had the strength to get out of this mess, it was his mother. He could see her face in his mind, that determined expression, that gaze that never wavered when it came to protecting him.* "I'm going to get out of here, I know it," Shion mumbled to himself, clenching his fists.
