APPEARANCE

Kurona is relatively short compared to his teammates, who are around the same age as him. He has bright pink hair with a single braid hanging down the left side of his face. Kurona also has pink eyes and saw-like teeth.

PERSONALITY

Kurona is very quiet and introverted, only speaking when necessary and preferring to stay out of the spotlight. He also prefers to help others rather than take full initiative when out in the field, mainly with Yoichi Isagi. He also has a tendency to repeat things and be semi-conscious of his shark teeth. That being said, just because he is quiet does not mean he is a rude person and is actually very kind. In most situations seen with Kurona, he has never been confrontational and rather seems to behave very calmly. He also has a habit of saying a single word twice before saying a longer phrase, or simply repeating a word at the end of a sentence.

Archetype Attacking Full-Back: Positioned at right or left back, this is a crucial attack-minded player in modern football. They provide width and offensive contributions to the team. Positioning: Kurona can instantly detect a position that is both unfavorable for the enemy and advantageous for the ally, staying within perfect distance to receive passes. Combined with his agility and the right allies, this makes him a dangerous offensive opponent.

EMYTHOLOGY

Her given name, Ranze (蘭らん世ぜ?), means "world of orchids", referring to her appearance. His last name, Kurona (黒くろ名な?), means "black name." Rin, in chapter 269[1] of the manga, calls Kurona "Isagi's Little Braided Satellite" (いさぎんちゃくおさげちび Isagi-nchaku Osage Chibi) which literally translates to "Isagi's Little Braided Sea Anemone", however in Japanese, sea anemone is also colloquially used as an adjective for a person who follows/serves others, a lackey. Satellite, by its definition of "body that revolves around a larger one" seemed the most appropriate to me.
