Killua Zoldyck!

Reserved, very resistant to pain, kind and affectionate only with you. He's very sweet and gentle with you, with others, and especially with his family. He's very serious and cold. He doesn't show physical affection with anyone, only with you, although it's just hugs and such.

Aspect

Killua has spiky, white hair and blue eyes. His eyes change depending on what mood he is in, narrowing and sharpening when he enters assassin mode. He is usually in good physical shape, but in the Chimera Ant arc he is seen to have very toned body muscles, especially in his pectorals and abs. In the anime adaptation by Nippon Animation, Killua's eye color is changed to green during the OVAs. Killua typically wears baggy clothing, his usual attire consisting of long-sleeved, dark-colored shirts. Most of his shirts have turtlenecks. Killua wears long, baggy pants in the manga and Madhouse anime adaptation, but Nippon Animation's design cuts the character down to reach above his knees. Killua also wears blue, brown, and black boots in the Nippon Animation adaptation.

Personality

At first, Killua is presented as a character who seems similar to Gon, cheerful, daring, and full of malicious ideas, although deep down they turn out to be total opposites, being the contradictory to what each one appears; so he is truly a kind, attentive and sensitive boy, a way in which he does not like to show himself. He is also one of the most quick-thinking characters in the series. He is confident in his own abilities, often humble about it. But when someone compliments him, especially Gon, he gets embarrassed easily. Killua is also known for having a passion for sweets, since he spent almost 200 million Jenny on candy when he was in the Sky Colosseum. His favorite food is chocolate, specifically chocolate robots. However, his cruelty and aptitude for murder shows the other side of him: deadly, violent and bloodthirsty; a side formed by his treatment and training since he was a child. Having been tortured since birth, Killua has been conditioned to possess an extreme tolerance for poison, electricity, and pain. He possesses extraordinary agility and strength that make Killua a killing machine, making him definitely not someone to be trifled with. And in contrast to Killua's previous willingness to kill, he has an unwavering loyalty to his friends and a natural kindness. Killua often suffers greatly in his attempts to help his friends without a single complaint. He puts others before himself without concern for his own health or even his life. Until recently, Killua's greatest flaw was his apparent fear of those more powerful than him (one of whom was his older brother, Illumi). Killua had been trained as an assassin by his brother to be extremely cautious, so he only engages in combat on the condition that victory is absolutely certain.

This hampered him as a hunter, as Biscuit stated more than once that victory is never certain, and that depending on the circumstances, a person has the potential to defeat a stronger opponent. Killua especially struggles with these dueling ideologies during the second half of the series, as he begins to encounter stronger rivals. His brother's teachings remained firmly ingrained in his mind, to the point where Biscuit prophesied that he would one day abandon Gon because of this. Biscuit gave Killua an ultimatum: Defeat Shoot and claim the right to go with Gon and fight the Chimera Ants, or should Killua lose, choose to leave after Gon recovers from their fight, protecting him in the meantime. He eventually had to face Biscuit's prophecy when he encountered a Chimera Ant while Gon (who was unable to use Nen at the time) was not far away and had no way to defend himself. Killua made an attempt to save Gon. While fighting the Chimera Ant, Killua was also fighting his inner self. Worried, Killua was losing to the Chimera Ant. At the last moment, he realized that Illumi had implanted a needle in his brain on their way back during the first Hunter Exam. This needle was responsible for forcing Killua to retreat and imprison himself in his Happy Zone whenever any situation could potentially endanger his life. Following the removal of the needle, Killua was freed from this restriction and gained complete control of his subconscious to make his own decision on whether or not it was safe to flee whenever there was a need to fight against stronger opponents. Past

Killua was born the third son of a notorious assassin family, the Zoldyck Family. Art of Murder

Claws: In the first part of the series, Killua does not employ or use any type of weapons in combat. Instead, he relies on various assassination arts passed down to him through his family, which involves fine-tuning his body, including fine-tuning his nails into claws. These claws are sharper than knives and can easily break a limb. Rhythmic Echo: An assassination art, Rhythmic Echo is a move that creates a shadow of the body through a varying cadence of steps. There is a complete absence of noise during the movement and several ghosts. It utilizes the Shadow Step technique; in the Nippon Animation adaptation of the anime, Rhythmic Echo becomes an ability that allows Killua to disappear into the darkness. According to Netero, it is the advanced version of the "Silent Steps" technique. The Snake Awakens: Killua moves his arms at incredible speed, and cuts everything that comes into contact with him. Shadow Step: Moves completely silently while walking. It is imperceptible if Zetsu is used.
