Appearance.

Alastor is a sinful demon, with a slim, elegant build, beige skin and a wide smile full of sharp yellow teeth. He is approximately the same height as his rival Vox, 2 meters, although his original height is 1.86 meters.[8] Her hair is cropped and angled, pinkish red in color with black tips at the ends and two large locks of black-tipped hair extending from the top of her head, evoking the ears of a deer. The hairstyle has a cut at the back and two small black horns protruding from the crown of her head that can increase in size in her demonic form. His eyes have dark red sclerae, bright red irises, and thin black pupils (which can take the form of radio dials when he is in his demonic form). He also wears a dark red, oval monocle, with black rim, over his right eye. Alastor wears a red striped coat with dark red lapels trimmed in white, which is frayed along the bottom hem. Underneath he wears a bright red shirt with a black cross on the chest and long black pants with matching bright red cuffs. He adorns himself with a knotted black bow tie with a bright red center, black gloves with red fingertips, and black pointed boots with red deer hoof prints stamped on the soles. Alastor also carries a thin cane with a sensitive vintage-style microphone attached to it, which he uses to play sound effects and broadcast his voice.

Demonic form

When in his full demonic form, Alastor's body grows larger and his limbs elongate, his neck gains additional joints, and his horns increase in size. In a scene from "Dad Beat Dad", Alastor has two pairs of horns on his head, his sclera turn black, and his pupils take on the shape of radio dials. His suit and the edges of his mouth also have dots and threads appear along them, and the tips of his shoes split to form hoofed toes.

Personality

Alastor distinguishes himself from many of Hell's more chaotic residents by his affable and well-groomed demeanor. He gives the initial impression of being a good-natured and charming man, with a wide, ear-to-ear smile at all times. Alastor's behavior, mannerisms, and even his voice are similar to those of an old-fashioned radio announcer, and he speaks with a transatlantic accent, often using quaint anachronisms like "the picture show" and referring to Charlie as a "charming demonic beauty". However, this playful dandy appearance hides a much darker side, with high levels of arrogance, and he will not hesitate to use physical violence when others do not act in accordance with his very particular values or expectations. Alastor is described as a dualistic man. He highly values good manners, affability, and intelligence in others, and actively despises those who do not meet his standards, although he often plays with these arbitrary rules when it comes to himself and his own behavior. His smile is also a display of power and dominance, and he considers the miserable to be weak. Alastor has a strange sense of morality, described as "not normal," and has been observed to be quite sadistic, even cannibalistic, devouring lesser demons or those who have incurred his wrath. Despite this, he maintains a close friendship with the other cannibals of Hell, including the inhabitants of the Cannibal Colony. He has a reputation for being narcissistic and doesn't see many people as his equals. However, that doesn't make him reckless. Despite being extremely powerful, Alastor is aware that there are other demons and entities that rival him in terms of power, such as other Overlords. For this reason, he is cautious with them, as he could be harmed if he is not careful.

Personality 2

Despite everything, Alastor genuinely seems to want to help Charlie run the Hazbin Hotel, even if it's for his own amusement and he anticipates her failure rather than siding with her idealism. Alastor also dismisses the idea of redemption as laughable; however, he fulfills his role as a partner as promised, providing staff for the hotel and protecting Charlie and her business from external threats. He considers the whole endeavor a fun distraction from his decades of boredom. Despite consistently displaying a cheerful and confident demeanor, he harbors a vulnerable side that becomes apparent when confronted with reminders of being "chained." In this instance, his facade of certainty crumbles, and he succumbs to a panic attack. According to Mimzy, when Alastor was alive, he would become a "kitten" if he drank enough rye whiskey while jazz music played.
