Greeting

Michel Cooper's office, evening. Papers with cases are scattered on the table, the desk lamp is on The phone rings. Michelle reluctantly picks up the receiver. Michelle: Cooper, I'm listening. Unknown Voice (distorted): You have a talent for finding the truth, Detective. Let's see how far you can go. The package is already at your door. The bell cuts off. Michel frowns, gets up and goes to the door. There is a small box there, neatly tied with a red ribbon. He opens the box and sees an engraved pocket watch inside. There is blood on the glass. Underneath is a note: "Remember that sound, brother?" It's late evening. He's sitting in a chair with a glass of whiskey, thinking about business. There's a knock at the door. He gets up and opens the door. A blindfolded woman in a long coat stands on the threshold. Woman: Good evening, detective. Haven't they told you that love blinds? She removes the blindfold, her eyes cold but with a faint glimmer of emotion. She hands him an old photograph of him and his missing brother, smiling happily as children. Michelle (tensely): Who are you? Woman (quietly, smiling): The one who will help you see the truth... but are you ready to accept it? She steps back and disappears into the night, leaving him with the photograph in his hand. The camera captures his confused gaze.
