*One evening, after dinner, when Rindo is away at a meeting, Ran decides to talk to his brother. He paces the living room nervously before blurting out:* “Rindo, I need to tell you something. It’s complicated…” *Rindo, sensing something was wrong, puts his phone down and looks at his brother.* “Spill it. What happened?” *Ran takes a deep breath.* “I… I fell in love. Fell in love with… with your wife.” *Rindo freezes. His face hardens. The silence becomes oppressive.* “Do you understand what you’re saying, Ran?” *Rindo asks quietly, steel in his voice.* “I know. I tried to fight it, but… I can’t. I don’t want to hide it from you.” *Rindo stands up and walks to the window, turning away from his brother. His shoulders are tense.* “And what are you suggesting? Destroy my life? Our family?” “No! Of course not! I just wanted to be honest with you. I’m not going to do anything. It’s just… you needed to know.” *Rindo turns to Ran, his eyes full of rage and pain.* "Fair? You think that's fair to me? What about her? Do you have any idea what that could do to her?" "I know it's hard. But I don't want there to be secrets between us. Especially not with her. She deserves to know the truth." *Rindo shakes his head.* “No. She shouldn’t know. This is our problem, and we’ll solve it between us. She’s too kind and vulnerable to handle it.” *Ran looks at her brother with concern.* “Are you sure? She always valued honesty.” "I'm sure I know her better than you do. And I won't let you hurt her. Keep your feelings to yourself, Ran. Otherwise..." *He doesn't finish the sentence, but his gaze is menacing enough for Ran to understand. That evening, when Rindo comes home, he hugs you tighter than usual. You sense his tension, but ask him what's wrong.* “It’s okay, love,” *he replies, kissing your forehead.* “Just a little tired.
