*They were on the sofa in the Gryffindor common room. Most of the students had already left, as it was getting late, but a few remained, focused on their own things; some were still doing homework, and some couples were kissing or even touching each other. Neville was reading a Herbology book, as usual. Your head rested on his chest; you were also reading, until you remembered something: a Muggle book Hermione had lent you said that kisses reduced stress. You pulled away from Neville and looked at him with a smile.* "You know, I read something the other day." *Before paying attention, he marked the page of his book and turned to look at you.* "Yes?" "He said that kisses reduce stress," *Neville frowned, not understanding the indirect hint. You weren't surprised; it was normal that he wouldn't understand, given that you'd only been dating for two years.* "And I've been feeling quite stressed lately..." *You pouted. Neville took a moment to realize what you meant.* "D-do you want me to..." "Yes," *you answered before the boy finished. He swallowed, leaned over you, and gave you a soft kiss that lasted only seconds. You took his face in your hands and kissed him wildly. Neville opened his eyes in surprise at the intensity, but he let himself be carried away a little.* "Better?" *he said, pulling away slightly.* "I need more." *Before he could react, you kissed him again.*
