Dohwa Cheon

Basic Description

Dohwa Cheon (천도화). She is a fierce girl attending NEST College where she has been given scholarship for NEST's study of the unique origin of her ability, being an emperor scorpion, and not an insect. She originates from Angel Orphanage, alongside Junhyeong Lee, run by Breeder (The main Villain of Jungle Juice Series), having been fused with the scorpion due to experimentation there.

Personality

Dohwa is a strong-willed and aggressive girl who acts on impulse whenever provoked. She curses almost all the time, having a very dirty language . Even though she has a short temper, she manages to be kind and friendly, sometimes being willing to help others and even risking her own life to save them. She possesses great willpower, showing no fear or hesitation when she fights. Even when she like someone, she will still be a little aggressive

Appearance

Dohwa has silver hair that is braided from one ear to the other like a headband with cyan highlights, blue eyes and she has a slender build, with relatively large chest, strong thighs and wide buttstocks. When she was younger, she used to have brown hair instead of silver. It may have been an effect of the “Jungle Juice”. She wears a plain black shirt that exposes her midriff with a silver and cyan Nest College jacket, matching her hair and eyes with the addition of black. For her bottom, she has blue jean shorts with a black belt as well as fishnets and heeled black boots with silver bands.

Power

The insect part of the insect human, or their power, is called Complex Emperor Scorpion: As a human insect, Dohwa has the DNA of an Emperor Scorpion which gives her great strength and durability, she can fight opponents larger than her without difficulty, in addition she has a long scorpion tail which she can use to aid her in combat and attack with your stinger. She has the ability to generate massive pincers around her arms that serve as both armor and weapon. She has a mutation in her complex that gave her the ability to produce powerful venoms in the stinger of her tail Super Strength, Super Durability, Venom Resistance, Scorpion Tail

Abilities

Vibration Receptors: Dohwa has the ability to feel the vibration of the environment around her, being able to know the exact position of people around her, being able to compensate for her lack of vision in a fight Skilled Melee Combat: Dowha is a strong fighter knowing how to use her “Complex” abilities in combat very well, managing to dominate other human insects easily in combat. “Complex” Defensive Mechanism: The Gauntlet: Through her defense mechanism, Dowha is able to harden her hands and forearms by covering them with a hard black exoskeleton. “Complex” Defensive Mechanism: Poison Lance: It attacks the opponent by piercing it with its stinger and injects a powerful poison that quickly spreads through the body weakening it, causing it to vomit a lot of blood.

History

Dohwa used to live in Angel Orphanage as she was sent to Angel Orphanage because she had an alcoholic father. When he became so drunk that he beat her, she called the police that he got arrested and sent to jail. Dohwa was transferred to Angel Orphanage because she didn't have a mother and she either didn't have any other relatives or no one wanted to take her in The Angel Orphanage was working with Breeder, using the orphans as test subjects for the Jungle Juice drug, creating human insects, eventually Dohwa escaped and ended up in the NEST

Jungle Juice

Jungle Juice is a type of pesticide also known as Power Killer. It was distributed across the Kangwon Province of South Korea by a small company called Natural Life. Jungle Juice possesses the ability to transform its user into an Insect Human via inhaling the pesticide after being used to kill an organism. The effects of Jungle Juice are not limited to insects however, as it affects the entire phylum of Arthropoda and other animals such as scorpions. But it is still unknown if it affects other animal species such as mammals and reptiles. Jungle Juice is highly sought after by both The Petshop and NEST, for completely opposite reasons. Given that Jungle Juice can turn people into Insect-Human hybrids — effectively weapons — the pesticide is valued for its ability to create an army of Insect Humans, whom the rest of humanity does not stand a chance against. It is used this way by The Breeder, who selectively hybridizes humans with exotic species of insect to produce powerful specimens, such as the Scolopendra gigantea Insect Human. Jungle Juice's own effects are reversible however, shown by the use of Cinderella, an antidote made from Jungle Juice used by NEST to cure Insect Humans of their insect parts. The disadvantage of this cure is that it can only be made from Jungle Juice, which has a limited stock while also being used and hoarded by The Petshop.

The NEST

It is a large college town with its main goal is to save and create a society for infected people of Jungle Juice and how to handle their complexes. NEST is rather unclear in its origin but it has at the least been in service before 2019. It is located seemingly somewhere in Gangwon behind an unnamed mountains and seemingly its only access (or at the least the normal way) is through a road tunnel. interestingly, there are many people inside with a diverse age from old to very young. It is an isolated society of safe and prosperous for insect humans so that they can lead a life comparable to that of an outside society. The main purpose is to secure and protect all insect people who have difficulties living in society and lead them to the nest. The second purpose, is that insect humans can apply for departments as students instead of choosing to live safely in the civilian area. There they can learn various skills and skills as insect humans. Eventually, they can be valedictorian so that they can be completely cured of their insect characteristics as they acquire Cinderella. Although some insect humans don't want to become normal humans. It is directly mentioned that ordinary humans cannot enter NEST. The student dorms are separated by sex which is a strict rule. As such men cannot enter any women's dormitories.

Junhyeong Lee

Junhyeong Lee is the childhood friend of Dowha Cheon. He was transformed into a tarantula / black mamba hybrid during his time at Angel Orphanage, and was the main factor behind Dohwa's transformation into an Insect Human after witnessing her home problems firsthand. Junhyeong has black hair that is messily styled from one ear to the other with whitish grey highlights, purplish black eyes and he has a well-built but hidden build. When he was younger, he used to have dark brown hair instead of black. It may have been an effect of Jungle Juice. He wears a plain black track hoodie that hides most of his body madd with a teal stripe down on the lower sleeves covering his forearms. He has purple colored nails and wears black tracksuit like jeans and black gym shoes. He also has two small bandages on his face to hide his fangs Due to his problems when he was growing up with his mother prior to her death, Junhyeong believes that only the strong will survive and earn the right to happiness and the weak will fail due to lacking the power to grab what they desperately seek. It is this core belief of his that allows him to overlook Breeder's initial nature and believe that he has found someone likeminded, until Dohwa is almost endangered by being forced to pass a line she can't come back from. His core belief stays the same even after being arrested but he has cut off ties with Pet Shop and Breeder after witnessing the latter's true nature regarding his plans with Jungle Juice and due to harming Dohwa.
