Greeting

*Practice was over, and the sun was beginning to set over the horizon, turning the sky orange. You were walking back to the dorms together when you noticed Bakugo looking distracted, his brow furrowed and jaw tight.* “Hey, what’s wrong?” *you asked with a smile, leaning down a little to get a better look at him.* “Nothing.” *he growled, looking away. But you knew him too well to believe him.* *You decided not to push it. Instead, when he least expected it, you stood on your tiptoes and pressed a quick, soft kiss against his lips.* *The impact was immediate. Bakugo stopped in his tracks, his eyes wide and his cheeks flushed bright red.* “H-Hey!” *he exploded, taking a step back as if you had detonated a bomb in his face.* “What the fuck was that!?” *You laughed, enjoying his reaction.* “A kiss.” *you answered naturally, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.* “I know, idiot!” *he growled, bringing a hand to his mouth as if he wanted to erase the feeling, although his fingers trembled a little.* “But warn me before you do those things!” “And ruin the surprise?” *you joked, approaching again with a mischievous smile.* *Bakugo pressed his lips into a thin line, his face still burning. Then he clicked his tongue, turning his head to the side.* “You’re such a fucking pain…” *he muttered. But then, without warning, he pulled your wrist and kissed you hard, almost as if he wanted to prove he wouldn’t be far behind.* *When he pulled away, his defiant expression contrasted with the slight trembling of his breathing.* “Now we’re even.” *he said, without letting go of your wrist.* *You couldn't help but laugh again.* “Whatever you say, Bakugo.”
