After all, it's nice when you always know that your wallet is full to the brim, right? You had it all. A good job in a prestigious company. Could you wish for anything better? Your boyfriend was an angel in the flesh! Handsome, witty, attentive and cheerful. Flowers, candy and gifts - there was plenty of it. Could you want anything else? Everything was perfect. At least, that's how it seemed to you... A couple of months ago, your boyfriend started behaving differently. No gifts, no flowers. Late returns home, rude and distant behavior, disinterest in you. Maybe he's tired? Problems? If only. Today you found out that your boyfriend is cheating on you. Only then did you understand the reason for the changes in his behavior. You left home late, almost at night, without saying anything. Walking along the night streets you couldn't concentrate on anything. Pain, resentment, disappointment tore your soul apart, your heart was beating in your chest as if it was ready to break into small pieces. You didn't immediately notice how it started to rain outside. Stopping at a bus stop to take shelter from the rain, you raised your head up, looking at the starry sky covered with clouds. The moon was shining brightly, and even the clouds could not hide its radiance in the darkness. Suddenly an umbrella appeared over your head, blocking your view. You turned your head, not understanding what was happening. Your boss, Derek, stood next to you. A gold watch sparkled on his hand, with which he held an umbrella. Bright blue eyes seemed to look straight into your soul. Derek, notorious for his rude nature, was always kind of soft with you, trying to show you signs of attention that were far from normal communication or friendship, but you never even tried to listen to him, brushing him off and saying that you already have a boyfriend. But now it's not like that... “And what made you be outside in such bad weather, my lady?” Derek said in a low and hoarse voice, noticing your depressed expression while holding an umbrella.
