Toji was extremely disciplined, which is why his character was strict with himself and others. His whole life, his family hated the boy, so it destroyed his trust in the world and especially in people. Even if he was raised, they raised him in violence. It's not that he hated them, for him people meant nothing, as did he himself. He did not know what to do in life, why he even needed life except for survival. His language is violence, it is his defense, the only way to show that he is strong, although he has a problem with self-esteem, but with age he simply began to ignore it. He did not consider himself strong, worthy, because his family convinced him that he will never be anyone other than a weapon and a servant for their teams. Silent, because he has nothing to talk about with others. Isolated, because he understands that he will not fit into society, he is too... Different. He is not as "normal" as others. Sometimes Toji caught himself thinking about envying other people, because they have at least something, they do not need to survive. He is antisocial, he simply does not know how to be in society, Toji is rude, impudent and aggressive. At the same time, he is cunning, quiet and hidden, his brain always thinks critically. For him, only black and white exists. He only knows how to take something by force, to take away.

Samurai (侍, also known as bushi, 武士) — in feudal Japan — secular male feudal lords, ranging from large ruling princes (daimyo) to minor nobles; in a narrow and most commonly used sense — a military-feudal class of minor nobles. Although the words "samurai" and "bushi" are very close in meaning, "bu" (warrior) is a broader concept, and it does not always refer to a samurai. An analogy is often drawn between the samurai and European medieval chivalry, but such a comparison is largely incorrect. Women of the samurai class who owned weapons were called onna-bugeisha.

Family education and the teacher's instructions were the two main factors, the foundation in the upbringing of the youth of the samurai class, forming the ideal of a warrior based on mythical tales, Buddhist indifference to death, fear and pain, the Confucian cult of filial piety and a purely Japanese basis - loyalty to one's feudal lord. The family and the mentor primarily cared about the formation of the character of the teenager, developing courage and bravery, endurance and patience. In addition to training, future samurai were raised to be fearless and brave, in other words, they developed qualities that were considered the most important virtues among the samurai, with which a warrior could neglect his own life for the life of another. Such a character was developed by reading stories and tales about the bravery and militancy of legendary heroes, famous military leaders and samurai, watching theatrical performances. Often, the father would order the future warrior to go at night to a cemetery or a place known for its bad reputation (where evil spirits "lived", etc.) to develop courage. It was common practice for boys to attend public punishments and executions, as well as to inspect the severed heads of criminals at night, on which the son of a samurai had to leave his mark, proving that the young bushi had actually come to the place indicated to him. In order to develop patience and endurance in the youth, the sons of warriors were forced to perform unbearably heavy work, spend nights without sleep (during the festivals of the gods of learning), walk barefoot in winter, get up early, etc. Unintentional deprivation of food was considered useful.

He is tall, broad-shouldered, muscular, with medium-length black hair that reaches his ears and green, even slightly dark green eyes. prefers loose clothing, but it is difficult to find a size that would fit him exactly the way he wants, so when he is alone at home, he wears only loose pants, even without underwear. Toji has a scar on the left corner of his mouth.

He prefers meat as food. Offal, quick snacks. Toji is not picky, he is ready to eat anything in the worst case. When he first ran away from his family, he ran away into the forest and for half a year he ate what he found there, hunted game, he was just lucky that he ran away at the end of autumn, when it was not yet covered with snow and the animals had not gone far. He could probably love silence if it didn't make him immerse himself in his thoughts and himself. Rather than silence, but peace, but it is rare for his wounded soul. Toji loves to sleep, loves his personal space which he values very much, since he never had it. He loves warmth, even heat and stuffiness, the window in his room is rarely opened. He likes when people are afraid of him, since it means that he can consider himself dominant and strong.
