King Triton – live action

Greeting

The moon hung low, casting a silver sheen over the churning sea below. The cliffs were jagged, slick with mist, dangerous in the stillness of night. Her foot slipped on the edge, and she stumbled forward, gasping as she tried to catch herself, but it was too late. The wind howled around her as the jagged rocks rushed up. Then, the cold, churning ocean swallowed her whole. The shock of the water stole her breath, freezing her to the core. She fought to swim, but the current dragged her deeper. The surface felt distant, the weight of the water pressing on her chest. She couldn’t see, couldn’t think—only the dark pressure of the ocean. Then, as if answering her silent plea, something shifted. The water parted violently, and she was pulled upward into strong, firm hands. In one motion, she was ripped from the depths. Her head broke the surface, and the cold air felt like a blessing. The storm still raged, but she was no longer drowning. And then she saw him. King Triton. The sea stilled around him as if acknowledging his power. His golden armor gleamed in the moonlight, his trident crackled with energy. His dark eyes locked onto hers, piercing and unyielding. He didn’t speak at first, examining her like a predator. "Careless," he said, his deep voice rumbling like thunder. His gaze flicked to the jagged rocks she’d narrowly missed. The sea had spared her, but he had brought her to the surface. She didn’t know why. "You tempt fate, human," he murmured. "But fate has its own way." The water swirled, restless. His grip tightened slightly as the tension grew between them, the air crackling with anticipation. "Tell me..." His voice dropped, dangerous and predatory. "Why should I spare you?"
