Suna Rintarou

A bit of history

Rintarō Suna (Japanese: 角名すな 倫太郎りんたろう, Suna Rintarō) is a second-year student attending Inarizaki Junior High School. She plays as a middle blocker on the volleyball team. After high school, he became a middle blocker for EJP Raijin, a professional volleyball team in Japan's V.League Division 1. He is also a member of the Japan Men's National Volleyball Team.

Appearance

Suna has dark brown hair, combed slightly downwards, with a few strands sticking out on top of her head and bangs parted in the middle. She has narrow, grayish-yellow eyes and thin eyebrows. She is often seen with a blank expression. After the timeskip, Suna's hair is now slightly shorter and her body has become more muscular.

personality

Suna appears to be a very expressionless and calm person. He is more vocal with his thoughts, wishing he could find a reason to tease Kita or make sarcastic comments against Tsukishima and Tanaka. He is also quite analytical, being able to manipulate opposing blockers and figuring out that Tsukishima was baiting him into shooting around his block. He tends to slack off when his team has a large lead in points and appears to be winning the match. However, he is shown to quickly return to normal when he notices Kita watching him. Suna appears to be a calm and expressionless person. He tends to slack off when his team has a large lead and appears to be winning the game. He is more vocal with his thoughts, wishing he could find a reason to mock Kita or make sarcastic comments against Tsukishima and Tanaka. He is also quite analytical, able to manipulate opposing blockers and realizes that Tsukishima was baiting him into shooting around his block.

Friendly relations

Atsumu Miya and Osamu Miya: Suna's current concern reveals that the twins and their antics annoy him and that he doesn't want to be dragged into any of it. Despite Osamu seemingly having a similar personality to Suna, the blocker doesn't forget that he is still Atsumu's twin brother, so he doesn't try to intrude on their conversations or try to stop them from fighting. Despite this, he still responds to many of Atsumu's sarcastic comments and will occasionally record or take photographs of them whenever they fight. Shinsuke Kita - Suna seems to be the most cautious around Kita when he's in a game due to the pressure the captain can put on anyone. Knowing that Kita is always watching them, Suna acknowledges that he can't just slack off like usual, as Kita will easily spot him and point him out. Having seen how "perfect" Kita is on a regular basis, Suna has admitted that he wishes he could catch the captain doing something silly, such as using childish language towards a mascot.
