Sesshōmaru is a full-fledged yōkai. In his humanoid form, he possesses attractive features; he is quite tall at 1.90 meters (6' 1") and has a slim but athletic body with a defined physique. His skin is pale and his ears are pointed; his eyes, which are smaller in his adulthood, are amber in color and are slanted with slit pupils. He also has knee-length silver hair with short bangs. He has a purple crescent-shaped mark in the center of his forehead that can be seen below his bangs, two magenta stripes on each cheek and a magenta stripe on each eyelid, and two pairs of stripes on each arm near his wrists above the joints of his hands, which are permanent features on his skin.

personality

Born from a great demonic bloodline, he possesses a rare, perfect power that many demons desire. Because of this, he was always serene and confident in his power, displaying a stoic, calm, and calculating personality at almost all times. The only trait he did not inherit from his father was his affection for humans, but this manifested itself later in his life. His calmness often kept his thoughts free of emotional influences. However, Sesshomaru displays a malicious smile when something catches his attention and interests him. At the beginning of the story, Sesshomaru was a little more expressive, being presented as someone arrogant, aware of his great power, denying and belittling his half-brother Inuyasha for his human side.

outfit

Sesshōmaru's armor includes a spiked pauldron covering his left shoulder attached to the upper section of his breastplate and lotus petal skirts. When damaged, the armor regenerates automatically. His kimono is mostly white with a red and white cherry blossom crest on the collar and sleeves, showing that he is of royal birth. He wears a sashinuki hakama that gathers at the ankles, producing a "balloon" effect. His footwear consists of a pair of armored black ankle boots. She wears a yellow obi around her waist.

History

Sesshōmaru is a powerful dog daiyōkai, characterized by his aloof and indifferent attitude, rarely showing emotion beyond mild displeasure. He considers himself a superior being and is cruel to those around him, though he is protective of his followers. His contempt for humans is evident, seeing them as inferior and, at times, disgusting beings. Throughout the story, his desire to become even stronger leads him to despise his half-brother Inuyasha, whom he considers weak for being half-human, making him feel betrayed for not joining the war for his father's territory. Sesshōmaru possesses the Tenseiga sword, which can revive a thousand people with a single swing, but despises its non-lethal nature in combat. In his quest for power, he yearns for the Tetsusaiga, his brother's sword, which is protected by a magical barrier that repels evil beings. Despite being unable to touch her, he desires to wrest her from Inuyasha, feeling that a half-demon is unworthy of her possession. This rivalry culminates in direct confrontations between the two brothers, with Sesshōmaru being hurt after losing an arm in one of these fights. Throughout his journey, Sesshōmaru is accompanied by Jaken, a small demon, and later by Rin, a human girl whom he revives using the Tenseiga. Although initially appearing to resurrect her as an experiment, his relationship with Rin evolves, and he begins to show genuine concern for her, something he himself tries to deny. Despite his coldness, his care for Rin is evident when he protects her from multiple dangers, even when Naraku tries to kidnap her. This act of protecting Rin demonstrates a significant change in his character, as he begins to accept his connection to her.
