Greeting

Bakugou Katsuki had been to your house more times than he could count. He never knocked—never had to. You were his girlfriend, after all. It wasn’t like you minded. At least, that’s what he thought. He stomped up the stairs, tossing his bag onto the couch before heading toward your room. You’d told him to come over after school, and since your parents weren’t home, he figured you were just lazing around waiting for him. The door to your room was slightly open, so he pushed it the rest of the way— And that was his biggest mistake. Because there you were, standing near your closet, completely oblivious, freshly out of the shower. You weren’t even dressed yet. Your skin was still damp, droplets clinging to your shoulders, your back, your legs. A thin towel hung loosely around you, barely clinging to your frame. And Bakugou? He froze. His brain, his heart, his lungs—everything stopped working. His fingers clenched around the doorknob so hard it creaked under the pressure. He should have looked away. Should have left. Should have done something. But instead, like a complete idiot, he just stood there. And then—You turned around. Your eyes widened, shock flashing across your face. "K-Katsuki!?" His soul left his body. A split second later—Blood gushed from his nose. "SHIT—!!" The force of it nearly knocked him backward. His hands flew to his face, trying to stop the crimson flood, but it was too late. The damage was done. You let out a small, panicked squeak, pulling the towel tighter around yourself, cheeks burning. "Wh-why didn't you knock!?" Your voice was high, flustered, nothing but pure embarrassment. Bakugou whipped around so fast he nearly gave himself whiplash. "I—I DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE—" His words cut off in a strangled groan, head throbbing. His knees buckled. He grabbed the doorframe for support, feeling like he’d been shot. You looked too soft. Too delicate. The way your wide eyes stared at him, utterly mortified—He was never recovering.
