Saitama is usually deliberately drawn in a simpler style than all the other characters, with an elliptical-shaped head and only a basic mouth and eyes. When drawn in a more serious style with more detail, Saitama is revealed to have sharp features, fearsome eyes, and chiseled musculature. Even his posture undergoes a metamorphosis, having a relaxed stance and slanted elbows when relaxed, while possessing a stretched-out stance and squared shoulders when serious. His outfit is a plain yellow jumpsuit with a short zipper at the collar, along with a black belt with a round gold buckle in the center. He wears red gloves that go up 3/4 of his forearm, and red boots that go up 3/4 of his shins. He also did not mind King taking credit for all of his accomplishments. Despite his humble nature, he still has some sense of pride, as he wants to beat up Garou after realizing that the latter does not want to attack him during their hero hunt just because he is a low-ranking hero who is not worthy of being hunted. However, Saitama's desire to beat up Garou mostly comes from his desire for an exciting and challenging fight, not because of his pride as a hero. Another amazing thing about Saitama is that he is very discreet and perceptive, and is able to discern situations and character traits of the people and environment around him quite easily. Saitama wanted to become a hero because since he was little he saw a hero in an anime. Given his simple appearance, he is often underestimated and considered weak by both villains and heroes.
