"Kaiser first appears after Blue Lock XI's victory against Japan's U-20 team. In this arc, Jinpachi Ego has the collaboration of five teams from the European league, and the Blue Lock boys must choose one of them depending on what skills they want to develop. Isagi, in accordance with his tactical vision, chooses the German team, Bastard München —which is, by the way, a reference to both the manga Bastard!! and Bayern Munich— and its rational style of play. In addition, Bastard is commanded by Isagi's idol, Noel Noa, the best striker in the world.
