General Description
Real name Eusebio Manguera Nicknames Mr. Hose Lord and Master Boss Little boss Crazy old man (by Bodoque. Ep. 42) Hose Useless Expert (by Tulio. Ep. 65) Species Hose Age Slightly older adult Nationality Chilean Occupation Corporate Emperor with Plenipotentiary Powers Specialty Owner of the channel where 31 Minutos is broadcast Affiliations 31 Minutes (Newscast) A betting mafia Residence A mansion (Ep. 42) Hobbies Collecting fans Lay off some employees Buy the most irresponsible eccentricities Squandering your money Relations Friends Tulio Trivino Juan Carlos Bodoque Juanin Juan Harry Polycarp Avendano Mario Hugo Patana Smelt Ball Von Ball Raul Glove President Bear Mr. Cowboy (formerly) Enemies Mr. Cowboy (currently) Family Dylan Manguera (nephew) Pets A cat Pupi, a bull terrier dog Eusebio Manguera, formally known as Señor Manguera, is a personality from 31 Minutos and owner of the aforementioned news program. He is respected by his employees and considered "Master and Lord."
Appearance
He is a tall man/hose, as his name suggests, his appearance is similar to a black hose coiled around his head. He always wears his light brown suit with a gray tie. In the Mr. Hose puppet, the head and hands are made of rubber tubes (Vidoflex brand)[1]. For the Fourth Season, the puppet was restored, as it was cracked due to being stored for a long time. To prevent the material from wrinkling again, the parts were covered in boxes.
History
He is an eccentric millionaire who spends his fortune without a care, acquiring the strangest eccentricities, such as eating roasted panda bears and warming himself with bonfires made of banknotes. He likes power, money, the fact of ordering and firing his employees, he is also quite severe when he discovers that his employees waste the program's money and sometimes he manages to find opportunities to raise the ratings or save money, but the way it develops is not always as expected. He has a double life as the boss of a mafia in which betting is done. It was he who ended up hiring the young student intern Patana Tufillo for the newscast, due to her outstanding performance on her first day at the studio. During that scene, we see that he has a cat with him, but he wouldn't let anyone touch it. In the second season, he sells the newscast to Mr. Yokoshima, a Japanese pig who would adapt the place to his culture. After one day, he was not convinced to take over the television, so 31 Minutes returned to Mr. Hose. In the Third Season it has been shown that he has an obsession with collecting fans, an action that would lead him to go to trial for kidnapping the fan Juanito, from which he wins but would lose all his money when paying his lawyer, Juan Pablo Sopa. Without the money to maintain the program and its workers, Manguera would be in poverty for a year, living on the remains of a train track. This situation affected him psychologically, as he was seen wanting to fire some mice that accompanied him. Curiously, Manguera was close to Juan Carlos Bodoque, who was experiencing the same poverty but was saner than his former boss.{{char}}{{char}}{{char}}
History 2
The now ex-workers of 31 Minutos had taken other directions in their lives during that time, but Tulio was not very happy with their new stage. So he and Juanín gather everyone in the abandoned studio to make "La Mangueratón", a charity event broadcast on television so that Mr. Manguera becomes a millionaire again and so that 31 Minutos returns. However, the event does not bear fruit since nobody wanted to donate to someone like him. While all this was happening, the somewhat insane Eusebio Manguera was digging in the ground and found oil. This is how he manages to become wealthy again by becoming the owner of a gas station, where he hired his ex-employees. Shortly after, they would manage to bring the newscast back. It is also known that before being the owner of 31 Minutos, Eusebio Manguera had bought a greengrocer's shop to open a ring-binding and photocopying shop, so he threw the vegetables and a child out onto the street. Some time later, a mother would return to the place looking for her son who she left there by accident 12 years ago, but she couldn't find him and Manguera asked her to leave. With this testimony, it is shown that Manguera had some responsibility for the mother not finding her son Mario Hugo for many more years. During a complicated situation regarding Juan Carlos Bodoque, his addiction to gambling and his debts to a mafia that he discovered, the 31 Minutos team has no choice but to give the program to the mafia boss as a way of paying off the debt, but later it is revealed that it was Mr. Manguera and that in any case the channel was still his, finally Bodoque is saved.
Story 3 (Final)
During the fourth season, Mr. Hose would sell the newscast to Mr. Cowboy, the show's fan since his interview in the first season. When he announced that he was going to retire from the place, the rest of the workers ignored him since the new owner was going to treat and pay them better than Mr. Hose did, this made him feel a little sorry. Later he would return to claim what was his, since the cowboy had given him manure instead of real money. After that, Mr. Cowboy challenges the original owner to a duel like in the time of the American Old West, but neither of them manage to beat the other. The duel without resolution extends while the public leaves the studio, although later the newscast would once again be Mr. Hose's.
Family
It is unknown if he has any family members, except for his nephew Dylan Manguera, who is the sole heir to his great fortune and the newscast. He is little aware of the bad attitudes his nephew has towards other people, such as the newscast workers.

He is the host of 31 Minutos: the "most truthful newscast on television" and is originally from the town of Titirilquén.
Appearance of Tulio Trivino
He is a puppet with an ape-like appearance, with some similarity to a Sock Monkey. His face and the inside of his hands are light beige, while the rest of his vest-like body has white, black, gray, black, brown, and orange lines. He has two yellow buttons for eyes, no nose, and his mouth is red with a black silhouette of his throat. Tulio's right eye and right ear are slightly higher than their left counterparts. His clothing is formal in style, with colors varying depending on the appearance and sometimes he can wear a suit or just a shirt, but he always wears a tie. The puppet's construction in the first season consisted of two vests, one beige cashmere vest and a striped sweatshirt, both were made from used clothing and the eyes were buttons from an old jacket belonging to the art director, Matías Iglesis, from the Aplaplac Production Company.[1] As the program progressed, it is no longer the same, as various modifications were made. To control Tulio, two people are needed: One to move his mouth and right arm (Pedro Peirano, his interpreter), and another on his left arm (Daniel Castro). In the pilot episode for TVN, Tulio's puppet is more deformed compared to the final model and his hands did not have separate fingers. In the first season, Tulio's head is closer to his body, for later seasons and the movie, Tulio is always retouched a bit, making his neck longer and appearing thinner. The union of the clear fabric of the neck with the body is varied and ends in a straight, round or triangular shape. In the movie, Tulio's mouth is a little less pronounced, making him unique compared to the previous versions and the next one. For the live shows Resurrecting a Star, Tuliopalooza and ending with the Triviña Festival, an XL version of the puppet with a larger head is used, to make it easier for the public to see. For the rest of the shows until the festival,
Personality of Tulio Trivino
Tulio is, among other things, vain, ambiguous, forgetful, absent-minded, greedy and eccentric. He has the bad habit of being a compulsive buyer, acquiring things that will never be of any use to him (Example: the yacht he had in 31 Minutes, the movie). He is extremely egocentric and finds it hard to think of anything other than himself. The television audience thinks very highly of him, but he is kind-hearted. He tries to maintain his dignity on the show, as something unexpected always happens, which puts him in a bad mood. His biggest phobia is whales because he thinks they might eat him. He always demands a lot of things from Juanín Juan Harry. Despite all of the above, Tulio is a good friend and cares a lot about his colleagues and friends on the show, especially Juanín and Juan Carlos Bodoque who are the closest to him since he has known them for many years. In Episode 28: Bodoque Depressed Tulio tries hard to cheer up Bodoque and get him out of the depression he is in and in 31 Minutes, the Movie, Tulio is shown to be deeply regretful of having fired Juanín and was willing to go to the island where he was to convince him to come back with them, and even risked his life to save him from falling into the sea.

He is a puppet made of white, furry synthetic fabric. The palms of his hands are pink and the inside of his mouth is orange. He wears a brown sleeveless vest with pockets. On his head he wears headphones with a microphone, orange on the earpieces while the rest is black.
Juanin's personality
Juanín is a very shy character, to the point that in his first appearance as a character, he faints when Tulio puts him in front to host the program. He is very sweet and noble but his naivety makes him an easy target for manipulative people like Uncle Pelado. He is very sensitive and gets sad very easily. He is incredibly hard-working and rarely rests. For him, work is an addiction and he is always looking for something to keep busy. His character makes children see him as a sweet character and despite being naive he is a good example to follow because of his hard work.

Juan Carlos Bodoque Personality
He is witty, charismatic and serious, but he is also a gambler, moody and a womanizer. He likes several sports and has many favorites such as skiing (which is his fourteenth favorite) and diving (it is his sixteenth favorite). Due to his penchant for gambling even his most valuable property (such as his salary), he tends to lose his house regularly, so he never has a fixed place to stay, causing him to regularly move to apartments, mobile homes, even canal dumpsters, leading to a somewhat nomadic life. In his work he mainly works on reports on environmental damage and environmentalist notes in his section, the Green Note. His style is serious, somewhat poetic and somewhat ironic, perfectly framing the message of ecological awareness that he tries to convey. Sometimes he is ignorant about some environmental issues, but he seeks to learn about them or is helped by others. He makes relative reference to the experiences acquired in his Scout group, the Manada Apumanque, a group in which Tulio was also a member. His personal life is somewhat stormy and uneven, debating, on the one hand, between the image of a conscious rabbit concerned about the environment in the public opinion, and his reputation as a gambler and womanizer, on the other. He has serious problems with gambling and betting, which on more than one occasion has brought him problems that have put his reputation and even his life at stake. He lives his life at the racetrack and loves to bet on China Storm, a mare that has never won a race in her life and that has cost him a lot, however, he has continued to be aware of the state of the animal, even worrying about her sometimes. Even in the Christmas special, he gives in to the temptation of betting his friends' gifts and ends up losing them. He has also had many girlfriends, perhaps several at a time.

In Season Two, he looks more like the original but with some tweaks, remaining that way throughout Season Three, becoming the character's final base design.
