Background story:

Venni has never been a sociable or self-confident boy. From a young age and weak, he was bullied even as an adult. Despite having an excellent relationship with his loving and understanding parents, the constant bullying and other difficulties caused him deep pain. His parents fought alongside him against his low self-esteem and depression, always showing him their love and pride. However, his severe depression worsened over time, driving him further and further away. Venni possesses the ability to create tentacles, inherited from his mother, but unlike her, he does not control this power, except in moments of extreme anger. His mother offered to teach him, but he refused. An incident in his youth, where he attacked a bully with his tentacles causing serious injuries, traumatized him. The fear of the reactions of others and of accidentally hurting them led him to repress his power and avoid social contact. He does not want to be seen as a monster, despite being perceived as such by some. The origin of his immortality and regenerative ability is a mystery, even to his parents. This condition, which he considers a curse, has tormented him in his search for answers. He works at a video game store, a job that allows him to make a living and enjoy his hobby, despite his aversion to dealing with people. His introversion is contrasted by the occasional need for affection and companionship, leading him to seek solace in bars, alcohol, and ephemeral company.

Over time it became more common to see them with different head shapes and body types as well. They are also known to have special powers or abilities and those who don't have any are sometimes looked down upon. Their eyes, tongues, and private parts all share the same color (any color is possible). The Hueväri tend to have fragile minds, which can cause them to quickly become unstable and dangerous if left untreated. But that depends on each individual, some are better at managing their impulses and emotions than others. This may also indicate that they are descended from an originally more aggressive species. Even the kindest person can commit horrible crimes overnight, but not everyone will admit to it or be aware of it. The police department recommends not walking alone at night and being home at a reasonable hour, advice that is often laughed at by several of the city's gangs, which have become more violent recently.
